Is Tree Service Wood For You⁉️ How I Do It 

Jeremiah, a good tree service is worth their weight in gold. That’s awesome that he cuts it so specific. I think a lot of people get bad raps because they butcher wood into all size pieces, when in reality they’re just trying to get the job done and the tree loaded. Not to mention they aren’t firewood guys. I started telling the two tree services I work with that I prefer poles as large as their equipment can load because I know if I cut it myself it’ll be right. They love that because it saves them time and chains, so here lately I’ve been getting 4-12 ft poles. Win-win. Great video!

I like the way you treat and split your wood. My customers always comeback to me cause they saw how I treated my firewood. I split in small size and never touch the ground. I stack them carefully. I love the smell of the wood and it makes me happy.

Great system Jeremiah. I don’t get tree service wood. And I don’t sell wood. We buy 16 cord at a time truck loads. Once every two years. And we pick up free wood whenever it becomes available. And if a tree comes down we saw it up. Some times Facebook ads have free wood and we get a little from that. Two years ago hurricane Fiona came thru and supplied us with 5 or 6 cords of wood. Good explanation and example. My 1st tree service guy would cut everything at 14 to 17in. Made things easier and faster for me to show up load up and go.

Awesome name for a tree service! Am so jealous that you get cherry and hickory from your tree service! I can't complain too much about all the silver maple as it dries fast and makes me money! As far as "butchering" the wood goes for some tree services, if is odd lengths you can turn the cutoffs into solo stove or mini firewood. Is hot weather, but I've got to get my tree service wood dumps processed so I can get more!

Man that's a nice set up to have with a tree service I'm not one to complain my guys keep my yard full pretty much year round I get logs tho the whole tree comes in or sometimes several trees in a grapple truck.

That's an incredible situation you have gotten yourself into! I haven't really reached out to any services yet. I know a local one has logs I can have delivered which I think I will do come late fall to start inventory for next year and start the relationship that way with those guys. That is the best tree service relationship I've ever seen. To mark all your logs for you is pretty awesome. Plus premium wood varieties it doesn't get much better.

Neither of my crews process the wood like your crew but they do pay me for my time and fuel to come get it. Now if I could just get them to reimburse me for the ruined chains from all the metal in the yard trees. I would be even happeir!🤠

I think you have created a system that works in your yard. You’ve have figured out how to get you work done efficiently. Your Tree Service guy Matt is a blessing. I thought I had a tree service willing to drop off wood,but he purchased a processor and is keeping all the good wood for his firewood business. Great video and take care.

I been trying to find tree service place work with. Not really any luck. I go get free wood from market place. The sorting the wood take lot time. I do 14 to 18 in one stack and short stuff in it own tot The stuff up to 24 I put in my personal pile. I need to find good one. I could drop my dump trailer off and have combo lock on the hitch. Cherry looks like it's doesn't know if it wants to be blk or sour. Cutting to 16" makes loading lot easier for them, doing it by hand.
