This is why they had to do all of those other changes to hydra. You cant have the whale team be competitive or underperform against wixwell and/or taunt teams.
They are so EVERYONE does less damage. You still need Trunda for big damage but even those who do little damage do less now. Those without enough support for Trunda do much less now.
What is the problem with hydra? It replaces fun and interesting game play by quintupling down on rng. So what did they do? They made the rng even worse. What crappy content. There were actually a few people in my clan who had been working on their hydra teams. None of them were the meme teams people like to pretend were common. Absolutely no motivation among most to engage. They also nerfed the hell out of a bunch of fusion champs. A lot more skips coming up for me. Screw that nonsense.
Trunda one shot full health head without def down and weaken. Wixwell team completely destroyed. So lets get this straight, Trunda team with resets, likely still the best, next best teams are huge pay to win A1 team attackers, and the only team for mid to late to combat them is nerfed into the ground.. Sounds right..... Unbelievable.
Guys this isnt a trunda thay 90% of us can even reach! I think she was nerfed just a tiny bit too much, but is pretty close to the numbers that are good. Still dont think the hydra buffs are acceptable tho.😢
2min into the video. trunda killed the head on the left and it instant respawn a new head... so that means overflowing dmg on living heads counts towards the necks/dead heads? next time they nerf siegfund again so his splashdmg cant crit anymore
@@jhonniekravchenko643 Of course he doesn't do any excess/splash damage on the hydra, but in the arena he can kill champions with stoneskin also one-shot dungeon bosses with minions around. Again, needs really good equipment. And what did they say about the trunda team back then? edit: dont have him. and it took me 4 years to get 1 trunda..lol
the reason why it respawned that head is because when all 4 heads are decapped and a hydra head is respawning, it will respawn 2 instead of just 1. It's been in the game for a while already.
So if she's still gonna be part of the top teams (by a lot? - that is the question), what was the point? Everything will stay the same with lower numbers 😂 And they messed up the runs of average players. Curious to see what my current teams will manage to achieve after the Hydra buff
This is the concern of MOST normal players who have been paying attention. Even if there is just a crunch for numbers, the situation is really the same. Trunda teams will still be extreme outliers.
Tinfoil hat here, this WAS the point. Nerf the F2P teams into the ground and "nerf" the Kracken teams but not enough to hurt their status as a top team.
Common guys, yes the solution is far from perfect, but it will massively decrease the gap between the whale teams and normal team. And that is very good thing for the balance of the game. Now it will be much harder or even impossible for one Trunda team to out damage the whole opposing alliance like it used to constantly happen in the past.
I keep repeating it since they announcement. Nothing will change, they just scaled everything down (whales will still annihilate clans). Right now, with the "nerf", parts of the playerbase needs to invest again to reach previous levels/rewards also on other non-hydra stuff (like CB). The Gamemode is eff'd up, not some "cheeze comps". Just like back in the days with other stuff like Classic changes....the whinney part of the playerbase were accomplice to Plarium draining people more.
@@david86418 It just decreased the absolute gap. Nothing will change. Just smaller clans struggle again to get double rewards etc. (which is what Plarium actually wanted)
Hey Skratch...this video has literally proven that they made Hydra hardest for everyone who isnt a kraken or whale. Trunda is still one shotting heads, just not when Serpent's Will is up. The only thing that has happened to the Kraken teams is that theyll get nowhere near what they use to. But guess what Plarium, they are still going to be OVERLY oppressive in Clash and it would have helped to actually improve their crap matchmaking for Clash and this backlash wouldnt actually be too bad. At least then similar leveled clans would be motivated to push instead of saying F it because one clan has 49bil from one damn key! PS - they ABSOLUTELY need to do something about the rewards too! They added the personal chest so everyone was getting something, and now......ill be back to getting nothing other than a chest every other week! These changes really changed nothing other than making it even more difficult to get into and/or maintain unless youre endgame or a big spender! There are SSSSSSOOOOOOO many people that have either already quit over all the BS from Plarium this past month, playing to quit shortly, or just barely going to play. Im literally just doing dailies and anything my clan needs so im not booted. Outside of that.....Plarium literally said, "FU! Yall still going to play!" So my response to them is......"Hahaha....naw naw....but if it helps you sleep better!'
I was totally good with them nerfing Trunda, Wixwell( or shields, but basically Wixwell nerf in disguise...) and turns to 1000.... but, that's ALL they needed to do!!! These other mechanics that they changed with Hydra just absolutely SUCK! Nobody wants to play a game, doing 0 dmg, and WAITING... We're tired of WAITING.. it's so annoying people have come up with the whole "Wait Shadow Legends" slogan, and here they go again, making us WAIT to do damage. It's annoying, and people don't want to be annoyed. Also, reducing the turns to 1000, kinda becomes moot when you look at how many wasted turns you're going to have because you're doing 0 damage. It's lame!!
Do it on NM and see how weak she is. Don’t act like she’s still hitting hard on Hard. It’s not even just Trunda teams being affected I’ve seen plenty of none Trunda based teams seeing a dramatic decrease in damage on the test servers
Imho using Trunda as DPS in classic teams is not bad. Plarium's wording "cannot be critical" also means "cannot be weak". You noticed that at about 7:10 when extra damage from A2 went through poison cloud. It also solves affinity issue a little bit, when you need to free an ally.
i'm guessing the ideal cycle would be: pop 2-spawn 2. and keep that cycle going. And i'm not sure you'll need provoke if you clap them in one turn. Can probably get away with block buffs. Or possibly trunda a3 to place burns before poison cloud (and stacking natures blessing)
Plarium said, they have tested the changes on a "ton" of Early- Mid and End- game accounts. If they were only honest telling us they do not play their own game as much as we do
The thing that get's me more watching you fight is not the trunda nerf. Is what you had to deal with with the Hydra buffs. Though they decreased the limit to 1000. But it's going to take twice as long to get through any of these fights!
Also remember this. The issues you mention here with the immune to damage etc, is not unique to trunda teams, those damage mitigations will happen to everyone equally. If anything, yumeko teams will most likely be comparatively stronger now than before since youll have cooldowns back all the time. Trunda lost 300%+ modifier from critdamage, but gained 30% nature's damage, truedamage, and a truckload of attack.
Oh no, I can't believe Trunda and Yannica have been nerfed! Whatever will the paypigs do, apart from spend tens of thousands on shards and soulstones to acquire a +4 6* of the next best thing?

Most of us couldn’t even get get 40 mil in 4 turns on nightmare (my clan is only on brutal but they stay on hydra hard until they can help me on brutal and I’m the hydra guy of my clan) soooooo Lolololol this is still gonna wreck most of us
Why don’t you have use her A3 it gives you a increase damage, instead of going only with the A2 just circle between A3 A2 , it could help, but maybe I’m wrong But maybe so you could use only 1 Nia and bring someone else
So this is exactly what I thought would happen. There was absolutely no need to change the Hydra mechanics; what needed to be changed were the clash mechanics. This fixes nothing. When you are matched vs a clan with players who have certain champs in their roster that are capable of insane damage and your clan can't match them you will still be unable to beat them. Due to power creep some champs will always outperform others. Plarium used the naivety of the complaining community about "Busted" champions to make this disgusting move. People complained that Trunda teams did 10x as much damage as the second best team; So If she did 5x or 2x, or 1.5x, or maybe 1.05%, do you really think your clan lacking teams with the "Busted" champion? It really doesn't matter if your clan got 2nd place because you lost by 200 billion points, or if instead you lost by 5 million points because your clan lacks enough of that "Busted" champion. Informed people are always gonna try to use the comps that will yield the best damage output, so the argument about getting people to use more diverse champs is Bull (seems like everyone wants a piece of the DEI action these days). The scoring system for Hydra clash is the problem, not the Hydra mechanic. A perfect example of this is the Demon Lord clan boss; you can do hundreds and hundreds of millions of damage there if you want to, you do you, at the end of the day no one else really cares. I personally am a mid game player, sure on Nightmare I do less damage, but what happens on Brutal and Hard? Am I gonna have to build my Damage dealers handicapped so they don't hit the Hydra heads for too much damage? I am also fully free to play so I don't have multiple copies of my best Damage champs sitting around where I can build two copies (one at full potential for all Other game content, and one Handicapped for the Hydra). The fundamental problem with the Hydra Clash has always been it's Point Scoring system, and spoiler alert without any Test Server access myself, I can safely say that it will still be... It will just take some time for these changes to sink in and then it's back to square one. In a few months time we will have new comps with a new "Busted" champ X who will outperform other comps by a decent margin, but that will be all it takes; Like I said before it doesn't matter if your clan got 2nd place because you lost by 200 billion points, or if instead you lost by 5 million points_ not gonna get your clan that 1st place chest is it, xD. So then the question is what's the point of implementing these changes to the mechanics in the first place when that's not really the problem here?
One of the biggest problems with the game, in my opinion, is the influence content creators have over champion rebalancing. They push for nerfs, and as a result, even if you see a team and think you could one day build something similar, it's not going to happen because of these changes. Plarium listens to them, and sooner or later, that champion will likely get nerfed. My second issue is how Plarium handles rebalancing. Instead of directly adjusting champions, they take a roundabout approach that essentially nerfs them anyway. For example, now the Wixwell team is dead, and Trunda is dealing only a third of her previous damage. They could have just nerfed those champions outright because, in practice, they already did it indirectly. I refuse to believe Plarium properly tested these changes. If they did, they probably just ran it on auto and checked the results afterward. Had they truly tested it, they would have noticed that at some point in the Hydra battle, every head would have 100% damage reduction, even if you're able to kill one or two heads at a time. Eventually, all the heads would reach that damage reduction phase. I'm done with Hydra. I'm not going to manually fight it just to deal 30% of the damage I usually do on auto-it makes no sense. Since I've already got the champion, there's no point in playing Hydra anymore.
Yeah but this works only with this specific setup/team. If you dont have Yumeko and double Nia's the Trunda nerf will still hit you(average players) Not mention the +4 on Trunda and what crazy build(stats) you have to get to do this amount of damage still. (average players trunda will not be this good)

Yep Trunda still OP! Now everyone will spend even more time on Hydra trying to manually squeeze 1 more mill or whatever, instead of auto battle. Because teams will fail miserably. But ofc thats the majority of player's not the VIP or how they were calling themselves. Plarium need's miney nerf from the player's!

Well, I just saved a bunch of time in ahydra. I'm not even gonna try and reset. Like I used to? She's gonna throw an auto team in and try to get the minimum amount of points.I guess.
Only Trunda should have been fixed... I do not care that whales and beyond are doing crazy stuff since they paid a lot of money for it but that hits people struggling to do any dmg to hydra. Like my clan when I finally managed to set up Wixwill team we were able to get x2 chests on all of the hydra diffculites, we won 3 clashes due to that but then we were put into area where everyone was doing similar damage so it was still a competition but on a smaller scale. Now we will lose that but also I don't know if my clan members will be able to do enough damage to kill Brutal hydra... one hell of a BS
Oh no, just doest enough to be great. Dont tell me a mythical might out damage her. Seems fine for anyone not krakening out for whatever champ is needed for whatever the new top team ends up being. Definitely nerfed everyone else more.
One CC with the Trunda team was at 48,000,000 at turn 0 while I can only get with non-Trunda team 1,000,000 at turn 3. Plarium should make shard pulls better and stop locking certain champions from the shard pull. If plarium does not lock certain champions, then why does it take years to get the champions you need to compete or certain epics to complete that mythical fusion?
Thank goodness they didn't nerf trunda too much...i have 2 of her and a yumeko...all i need niw is a yumeko and so.e amazing god tier gear sets!!...i will be ready to nuke hydras like crazy in 5 years....meanwhile i use traditional teams for the consistent 1 or 2 keys....to be honest..mits just a game..who cares..lol
My 5 blessing Trunda is moving to the vault. The only place she was still valid was Hydra, and now her damage is not worth the manual playing around her. Yumeko was the problem, not her (as someone that has Trunda double Yumeko team).
our thoughts don't matter .. greedium just scratched few of the new released champions ... and just said F U players... you won't progress... trunda neft much needed- MASSIVELY delayed should have happen 1-2 weeks after the crazy dmg was recorded ... not after so long... hydra buff - cut off the willingness of alot of players to do any teams as ... IF you happen to have 1 good working team ... after some new thing it can be trashed ... all your resources - went wasted... and now we are back to who ever have Acrizia, Grazu... teox,,, othor... archer ect... if you happen to miss ALL of these well sorry - grab a cold water and that's it... greediym fuk up again and you have to go back to old poor bin divers of RG and Husky boys cut off club ...
Nerf F2P team, pretend to nerf Whale team but not really. I feel like another 1 star review bomb campaign is in order... It's the only think they have ever listened to.
So instead of just doing a proper nerf on trunda they decide to nerf all champs for hydra. shes still going to be abused in hydra by the pay to win players. All i can say is my teams better still get the same damage im use to getting. Depending on how these changes effect my teams in done with raid after this trash update. They already hinder player progression enough as it is i won't deal with this crap too. Ill just quit and go play a game that actually has smart devs.
Not everybody has Trunda, and we all got penalized because of her. My non Trunda teams will make alot less damage. It only seems fair if we all get a free Trunda!!
Trunda is trash now. In arena she is even worse. Her a2 still scales based on the enemy hp bar but scales only based on the books. The ignore def makes little difference
Yeah when a champ doesnt single handedly define an entire meta they become trash. We also can clearly see this has to be the best team comp because someone put together 1 team and gave it a go. Clearly Skratch would have contemplated every possible combo of gear, champs and team make up............cry more please.
No trunda is not dead, the game is scale evenly. It does not change anything aside from the damage points. Trunda is still op compare to all other team.
