This journalist knows about english football and south america pretty well. His footballing insights are great along with his English accent, rare combination of qualities in modern football media.
He is brilliant. I watch him in Brazil all the time. He is not like other pundits. He is a man of culture and always knows the context the player has been through before giving an opinion. Great memory and great source of information. He is a true journalist.
Sad that it's the reality for us right now. I dream that one day we can become a bigger team consistently in European competitions so we can actually use the hidden talents we're uncovering long term.
@@rand0m170Brighton's revenue would need to grow 3x to afford the wages.... They just dont have a big enough fanbase locally/globally to produce the revenue...Unless Bloom wants to pump in even more money...
@@mnb9162 Not yet certainly. But more people know about Brighton these days and especially if we get consistent European places I think the fans will start to come.
@@rand0m170 The commercial revenue needs to grow... I think Brighton are waiting to see of they can get a crop of players similar to what Leicester had.... Vardy, Mahrez, Kante..... Real Top draw.... At the moment Brighton haven't produced/recruited a player of that quality.... Caicedo,Mitouma,Bissouma... Good Prem players.... But not elite.... They need 5 or 6...
argentine football is actually not slow at all, Barco has a very good speed, I would say he is as fast as Julian Alvarez who is not a slug by any means, but he is Messi with the ball on his feet, he is unstoppable going forward, the only reason he is not a striker is his lack of scoring skills, he is more of a playmaker who is really good at running with the ball
Barco is a left back and when they raised him in position they took away his explosion and forced him to play colliding with his rivals, since he does not have a large physical build, in addition to the fact that he stands out for his skill and ability when he runs into the void on the left dribbling at speed and one-on-one to the right point marker of the other team. He stood out in other positions because he is a star, but he will exploit all his potential playing left back.
