I am familiar with the pit toilet and that one looked pretty clean...no poop on the walls, or paper strewn around everywhere. But I completely agree, your set up looks much preferable!
We really couldn’t believe how clean this whole area is! We kind of expected for it to be trashed with so many people “living” here but that just wasn’t the case! Definitely restores a small amount of my faith in humanity lol! -Cody
I stayed in La Posa South for 2 weeks and EVERY. SINGLE. TIME I tried to go to one of the pit toilets someone went in literally 10 seconds ahead of me, and took FOREVER to come out to the point that I just plain gave up and went back to my composting toilet in the van. I opted to NOT build a shower in the van. I don't boondock for extended periods very often, so I just go to the gym/campground/friend's house, etc.

You should definitely be applying sunscreen as the very last step of your skincare. Putting other products over the sunscreen dilutes it and doesn't allow it to form an even layer/film for adequate protection. Happy travels and I look forward to more of your videos. :)
