Thank you for having me on the conversation. I am thrilled to be able to discuss in detail the harms of combustable tobacco and the life line that is smoking alternatives for every smoker in Pakistan. Not everyone has the will power to quit cold turkey and studies have repeatedly shown it to be the least effective method in quitting, rather than condemn those smokers and their loved ones the goal should be to have them move to a better alternative that has been endorsed by prestigious health research bodies to safer than smoking.

Finally somebody who is knowledgeable has been invited to talk about vaping, because most of the people talking on the media and social media about vaping don't know anything about vaping. Vaping really changed it all for me; the bi-yearly infection in the throat and the lungs, that bad taste in the morning, that craving every moment, the shortness of breath, the bad stamina - all gone. I really wish that we had nic salts back in the day we started vaping, or had access to more knowledge, and I am hoping this talk gets that knowledge to people who are trying to quit smoking. Great job.

Great episode, I myself vape and because of it, I haven't smoked for over 3 years. I think if someone is inludged in smoking, then the family members of that particalar person can play a huge role by introducing him to alternatives. Government should also lower prices of vapes for those who wanna quit smoking

Even though i am not a smoker myself and consider vaping the lesser evil, i think its still somewhat better than smoking over all but it also has that negative aspect of enabling an addiction (nicotine) just because "its not that dangerous".

Great talk. People need to realize the dangers of smoking cigarettes and how vaping is a much safer alternative. Unfortunately, we don't have enough educational resources to educate the masses how vaping can be life changing for many. At first i was skeptical about vaping but one day i got sick of smoking cigarettes and decided to do my own research on vaping. I was amazed with the results of my research and i didn't look back ever since. Today, i can proudly say i've been free of smoking. I've been thinking about taking an initiative to educate people about vaping and help them quit smoking. So far i have managed to help four people quit smoking. The knowledge i've gained over the past few months is something i'd like to share with masses one day but to do so i need to build an audience first. If you're someone who wants to quit smoking or is just curious about vaping then feel free to reach out and i'd be willing to help you out with the best of my capabilities. In future, i'm planning on making some educational content regarding vaping as welll.

We need to have serious policy changes to on smoking alterntive products and accessories with regards to nicotine and also thc with the former we need a market liberalization and with the latter we need at a minimum a decriminalization but ultimately a legal taxation to those who are users. Government shouldn’t maintain the stigma in our society and think beyond.

I have a closet full of vapes including the battery mods , the ones for salt nice and even tried every different disposable one which is new these days but I can't manage to quit ciggerates completely. If I start to like one flavor that bloody flavor stops coming in the market and then it's back to marlboro hards. Plus I can't ever get the hit I get from the marlboro.please help I really want to quit

This helped me alot. Quit smoking and shifted to Pod system. Now i dont worry about my nitocine craving, i can have it anytime anywhere. Now i dont go out of my house for buying cigarette from a cabin, no fear of getting caught. Pod is easy to hide from your family lol. I sit with my family with more ease as i dont worry about smell and all. Everyone please shift to alternate for youself and your family.

@@hiphoplistener6643 its there in your mind ke tumhe talab horahi hai. I used to smoke half pack a day and right now i use 35mg nic flavour and mera ek refill easily btw 1 and 1.5 day nikal leta hai. Try to get familiar with vape pods. Its not made to puff back to back. If you are using for the first time you’ll definetely smoke alot and burn coil within a week. I am also thinking to shift to 50mg because it will reduce my smoking and would be cost effective too. In the end its all in your mind. Though if you want a solution, try tobacco flavours 25mg.

Guyz I am smoker and smoke 1 pack per day from past 5 years. I am smoking 6 mg tar nicotine 0.5 mg carbon monoxide 7 mg L& M blues. Due to constant pain in my chest I want to switch to waping. Hi osama, i'm glad you're willing to quit smoking and i can assure you vaping is a great alternative. I'd advice you to get a starter kit from any vape shop and at first you might need some tobacco flavor but eventually everyone moves to the fruity flavors. Have you heard about quitsure? I smoked for 10 years and then successfully quit smoking. These alternatives are not solutions you will eventually go back to cigarettes but after this magical app. I even started to hate vapes and all other kind of stuff. This app will make you quit these kinda things in 6 to 12 days

Best thing to do but for the already 20 million smokers in Pakistan who cannot quit cold turkey, alternatives can save their and their loved ones lives according to Royal College of Physicians, Public Health England, Cancer Research UK, National Health Service UK, New Zealand Minstry of Health. I could go on.

@@khalidnaseer4796 thank you for comment and interest. With regards to your question, yes, it is still possible for your friend to hang out socially with their friends. With a smoking alternative such as an electronic cigarette he won't be tempted to smoke like his friends as he will be getting his dose of nicotine through his ecig, meaning no cravings. However, he should try and convince his friends to make the shift as passive smoking is still very dangerous unlike passive vaping.

What do you mean you love smoking? Is it allowed in Islam, Brother or did you make it up? How come when you read the Quran regularly and offer prayer if you are a Muslim, you are still not guided by Allah? It is not Possible. Do not normalize Vape or Smoking in an Islamic Society or make teens think it is Halal or Permitted. Allah made certain things Haram for our Benefit. Every Haram thing causes you pain, Fatigue and sorrow. When it is restricted, do not cross certain boundaries nor encourage others. Disappointed with this podcast.
