Is Walksnail FPV Good Enough To Use Daily? Should We Expect Something Big? - FPV Questions 

I have been flying and crushing a walksnail 1s vtx for the last 6 months. Killed 2 FC, 1 motor. VTX still works perfect 🙆‍♂️

converted almost all my fleet to walksnail , never had a broken vtx from crashes

I would make sure to buy the better "pro" camera Avatar v2 units... the pro camera is way better and worth the extra money. I personally fly walksnail in race mode as my daily driver.

I only know analog and walksnail. Image quality andpenetration is so much better on walksnail. Also I love the 1S kit for small quads and the avatar pro cam for the best low light cam in digital fpv!

I fly whoops every day. Been at it for years. Still running analog with OpenVTX, and the venerable EV800D. Suits my needs. I don't use the headset antennae, yet get static-free reception around my digs at 25 mW output. If it ain't broke. . .

I’ve been using Walksnail daily for over a year so I’d say yea. The only think I don’t like about them is how long it takes for them to get product out. Instead of getting the new product out to everyone who already preordered they’re too concerned with working on the next thing.

mine were overheating - right display went off and then its colors were greenish and were changing with temperature. I send them back after fighting with support and like 3-4 weeks later received a newer version from a newer batch. They claimed they fixed overheating by exchanging OLEDs to one's that can sustain higher temperatures (is it so?), they installed a new fan and a new heat sink. Still I saw tests where the right OLED still was 64 deg celsius hot, which hints that their workaround isn't helping much to fix bad thermal design! Then I read that the goggles reboots or just hang if a ELRS radio transmitter is close to the goggles and that hints at badly designed radio module. So they f-ed up two most important things goggles should do - receive the signal and display it. And that's why I sold the goggles for the same price I bought it without even opening.

Excellent video. I'm flying last year's Walksnail stuff, on V32, and (knock on wood) everything is fine. This year's stuff - eh, glad I'm not buying this year.

I received both first gen goggles x and vrx and never had any issues they are awesome for the casual flier

Love Walksnail system but their new 1s 500mW VTXs are really REALLY fragile! Me and my friends have recently sent 4 VTX units for repair. Mine never crashed, after the flight I changed the battery and it was dead. Good news is that Caddx has an amazing support team and they told us to send units for free repair.

I pre-ordered the walksnail goggle X have been daily driving them ever since. Haven't tried the 1s whoop board as I don't fly whoops. Also, I haven't had any over-eating issues with my goggles.

I have 4 micros with a walksnail 1s… haven’t ever broken one and I beat up my vision40, videos works great with them, gyroflow works with the clips

Can I use the moonlight vtx with the pro camera? I just want the SD card capability.

Walksnail works like DJI, both systems are worse than a good analogue. :)
