Personally I think the EPA should be doing a lot more to protect American citizens and the potential cancer-causing poisons in our water

See, that's the problem in America. Big companies, their powerful trade organizations, and armies of lobbyists donating to political campaigns on both sides of the aisle don't like to be called out as troublemakers. As long as the money flows and people keep drinking the Kool Aid - or poisoned water that continues to reduce our IQs - nothing will change. So unfortunately, you, the responsible, taxpaying American, have to protect yourself. Hopefully you can afford to do so.

The chlorine ‘burnouts’ are disturbing. There really should be public notifications before these occur.

COMPLETELY agree. Burnouts can be toxic to unhealthy and older people.

I see what you did there with your dihydrogen monoxide. Excellent summary of the poisons in most drinking water. This is more like a documentary!

Seriously - took three full days to research, write, record, and edit this craziness. But it's so important!

Philadelphia just had a nasty chemical spill. They should be watching this.

The more I learn about our public utilities, the more concerned I become that the fox is in the henhouse.

Disturbing that PFAS is in bottled water. Thought most of that was filtered through reverse osmosis.

We thought the same exact thing. As if BPS wasn't bad enough. Guessing the endocrine disruption may have something to do with weight gain.

This really is some eye-opening information about the terrible condition of American drinking water! Thinking I'm going to filter my water through a Pur faucet, then through a Brita, into a Water Drop, then into a Zero Water filter. Overkill? Maybe. But hopefully it'll take the PFAS, TTHM, lead and microplastics out of our drinking water.

We HATE that we have to rely on ourselves for something that's deemed "safe enough" by government authorities.

Interesting. Cruise ships use reverse osmosis. Wonder if anyone has tested that drinking water.

Most cruise ships are flagged under nations with lax standards. Think Bahamas. Interesting test though.

Great. Now I'm worried about my drinking water too. As if there wasn't enough to worry about with pesticides and hormones in food. Does anyone know if beer is safe to drink?

That's actually a very interesting question. It's filtered and glass bottles avoid BPS leaching. Avoid canned because the inner layer is lined with plastic.

Thanks Glenn! It's actually scary what's in our water. People need to know this.

fluoride used in U.S. drinking systems comes from China
@GiveThemWell
@GiveThemWell 2 года назад
Confirmed that two of the three more popular fluoride additives are manufactured and imported from China. That opens up a whole new can of potential worms... China discontinued water fluoridation in the 1980s supposedly due to excessive fluorosis. But are these fluoride exports really more of a profit center from chemical companies, or worse, a Trojan horse to contribute to the dumbing down of America?

We've got the entire fam on ZeroWater filters. We're praying they're good enough. Just got our water testing results back from @TapScore. FRIGHTENING.
