My John Deere 1025R Tractor Loader Backhoe (TLB) was sputtering, wheezing, coughing, sneezing and passing gas 🤣 especially when going up an incline. So, here's how we fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes.

My 1025 would lose power so I changed the fuel filter under the left foot rest. Has happened twice in 8 years and changing that filter solved it even though it is changed on schedule. Always keep a spare on hand.

Mine was weak even after changing all filters and putting synthetic oils in it. The engine would still stall before the transmission went into relief. Turning up the governor on the fuel pump made mine come alive. I think mine came from the factory with 12 Horsepower

I can always tell who is coming in from work by the sound of the tractor engine. John D. is "Poppy pop pop POP! "Our Ford tractors just go "Rurrrr- RURRRR". Our house was built to face one of our main logging roads, so I could hear " the boys" coming down from the back woods. We have two older Fords that belonged to my father-in-law and One New Holland that seems to need more repairs :-/
