About my videos: These videos are a resource for anyone wishing to wake up from the dream of separation. Awakening, enlightenment, and liberation are becoming far more mainstream possibilities than they once were. There are many good teachers out there, and if you resonate with the teachings of Eckhart Tolle, Rupert Spira, or Sadhguru, you might find resources here that address these deeper promptings to investigate your true nature.
Disclaimer: The information presented in these videos is not meant to diagnose or treat any psychiatric or medical illness. The inquiries presented herein are potent and can have powerful effects on the way you experience yourself and reality. If you feel you are at risk of harming yourself or others, these videos and practices may not be the best thing for you at the moment. Seek help wherever necessary which might include a hospital emergency department, a suicide helpline etc.

Thank you. Took me to my early childhood away in a camp missing my parents terribly. Still that hole in my heart, I'm sure. Those feelings were intense but little thinking in a way I'm immersed in thinking now.

Thank you for saying that! I totally hear where you're coming from, but I don't think that anything anyone can say (words are dualistic and conceptual) can transmit directly to what's being pointed to. All they can do is point and it's up to you to somehow bridge the gap between the pointing and the realization (which only you can verify). It's like that old analogy of using words to describe the experience of tasting an apple. Unless you directly somehow experience this for yourself, all you will ever know is a second-hand account of the description of that. I think that words are great pointers/clues but they can never come close to even convincing you at an intellectual level that what's being spoken of is accurate or true. In the analogy Angelo spoke of with seeing the 3-D image pop out, I get what he means too. It's like we're staring at this all the time, and it's already the case that's there's only ever been this Oneness but we're viewing it through the filtered perceptions of the mind, and all its conditioned programming. So, I think what this is all about is a simple, clear seeing. Awakening will not change physical reality. Nothing to gain, but the loss of illusory constructs and recognition of the Natural State of being. It's like suddenly seeing the 3-D image for the first time, you know in those magic posters as a kid. Once it pops, you wonder how you didn't see it before. Shift in perceiving. I remember hearing Jeff Foster speak about his realization and it was as blindingly obvious in that moment to him that's it has always been the case, he just overlooked it. He described seeing a chair, a simple chair, for the very first time. Adya says something very similar about his awakening that I heard in the ConsciousTv interview with Renate (I think that's the lady's name). That interview is here on RU-vid. He describes walking his first step ever. So this shift is radical and perceptual. It's sudden and only happens immediately. You'll know it when it happens and apparently it can't be spoken about with language - which reifies the subject-object split, and we're immediately back into mind/illusory time-based self again when we activate thinking mind to try encapsulate what isn't an experiencee (based in time/space) , into a theoretical framework. I think they speak of paradox quite a bit as far as trying to spread this message. There are many ways of talking about it. You just have to suss it out and try some different things, and play around and see what resonates. :) I've read accounts from people, who I believe have undergone radical awakening (you can never know just by listening to them or looking at them). I'm thinking of "Perfect Brilliant Stillness" (David Carse) which is a very interesting book, "Collision with the Infinite" (Suzanne Segal), and the Bernadette Robert's trilogy. Greg Goode wrote a few good books which I listened to on audiobook ("Standing As Awareness - The Direct Path"). It's practical which I like. There are so many more, but these people have realized 'no self' /anatta directly, and try to put it into words. From what I've read, it's very difficult to try to do this. So, my hunch is that this IS a _perceptual shift_ where the sense of personal self completely falls away. Life looks exactly the same as it always has, seemingly. There's still a reality with sights and sounds. There still awareness that this body-mind is experiencing this reality, so its not like you suddenly assume the infinite consciousness of every single body-mind, or the trees, and become some free-floating non-entity. The shift is a fundamental knowing in who/what you take yourself to be (perceptual shift). Life will still go on same as before for the character self that's been seen through. There's a fabulous vid which really gives a concise explanation for what this realization fundamentally comes down to. The channel is: Christopher Wallis, and the title is: "Nonduality explained in four ways" (its from about 2 months ago). He's so eloquent and he really cuts to the chase in a concise way. I'm listening to his Recognition Sutras on audiobook every evening and enjoying. I think also that it's great to broaden your scope by hearing this type of transmission in as many types of formats/ways possible. I love the clarity of Spira, and Adyashanti. GP Walsh is another. Robert Wolfe. Francis Lucille. All very clear. I read "Already Awake" by Nathan Gill which is straight to the point. I read Jeff Foster's "Deepest Acceptance" which I thought was quite good. I enjoy Angelo's channel because he is coming from a zen background, and at first I didn't get these vids. I don't know anything about zen. I don't have a religious background, but I don't think awakening is only for devotees of certain practices (but I know why they are more inclined to this path because of their teachings). Western culture is very unconscious in general. I think all these things point to the same path. There are so many expression. Different modalities for the same thing. Who am I? Self-seeking and returning. What's my nature? Where did I come from, as essence? I love the exploratory direct experience vids Angelo does. He leaves out spirital jargon and emphasizes direct experience always. He is quite unique in his approach in that sense. He's consistent and transparent in his message. There's a beautiful vid here called "Radiant Emptiness -- Let me show you". I really like that one, but I like a lot of them here. I read his book (the chapter on "Inquiry" is brilliant), and this was at first wildly confusing for my mind. Now I hear his vids and I hear things or get it in ways I didn't before. Not sure why. Since listening to Adya for a year straight, things weirdly seem to be clarifying and sinking in. I have a few audio courses (art of meditation, experience of no-self, and some others) and got a few of his audios on audible with my credits (he has a 30 day awakening course which is great, a guided meditation series and a the most important thing which I'm currently listening to) and I listen to his longer RU-vid talks, which I love, and his guided meditations are very good too. There's another beautifully clear, and sincere teacher I trust here on RU-vid and his name is Tom Das - but he's coming from Advaita Vedanta teachings, but he's so clear. I just gravitate to him without understanding the spiritual jargon of the different religions. So, my best advice is take what you can get and what resonates but also expand your horizons until you find something that sinks you in. Ultimately, you are the only one who can verify this for yourself. Use what others say as a guiding light but try to remember that everything said will be on one level conceptual in its pointing. There is truth but the mind will clutch onto what's said and this is also natural. Also check out the Samadhi series by Daniel Schmidt, here on RU-vid (if you haven't already). All the very best! :))

I like how our conversation continues across Angelo's vids. Thank you for being so generous with those dualistic words :) We all love them! :) I understand what you are saying and love it. It's August here in Connecticut and cicadas tell me more than any spiritual teacher. But something very important needs to be clarified here. I'll come back to it in a few days when time allows (I wish could I could just sit and write tonight but, alas).

And as we wind on down the road Our shadows taller than our soul There walks a lady we all know Who shines white light and wants to show How everything still turns to gold And if you listen very hard The tune will come to you at last When all is one and one is all, To be a rock and not to roll

Hey Angelo could you shine some light on the attention being pulled into thought? I know you have a video on it, but still I guess asking those questions from my experience can be more practical. For example if I use a timer, I can be aware of the present moment for approximately 20 seconds, then my attention is being hijacked by a thought. Sometimes it's stronger, sometimes it's subtle. I dissappear for a bit. Should I not be pulled into it or is this how it's supposed to work? Am I getting identified with it? Is that possible to not have your attention hijacked by thoughts AT ALL? Can I go past 20 seconds? This number seems like an average for my brain let's say. And that pull is so automatic and I have zero control over it. Thanks as always!

Hi Angelo, I need your advice. Someone broke into my apartment yesterday and changed the door locks when I wasn't there. I called the police and they're taking care of it. This triggered in me feelings of unsafety in the world. Like, I can't trust people or the world. I can't let my guard down. And like it's not safe for me to awaken. I would appreciate your guidance since you are awake and can see clearly.

It is possible to be non-mind identified in patches but the mind gets its way by saying "you will have to return to me some time, then these problems will be waiting for you and will be even more challenging later so better solve them now". The only answer to this challenge by the mind seems to be to never return to the mind. Is it? Is attempting to make this an unbroken practice the way?

but to say some thing “ has” thoughts suggests two parts. why can’t there just be thoughts? and when we say “ i’m aware of thoughts” that is just another thought……? i’m just not sold on conciousness anymore. 🤦‍♀️ i mean when someone says are you concious, how is that any different from an animal doing its thing but not able to express that due to no language? it seems like there are just living bodies ( human or otherwise ) doing, and humans have language that says “ i’m doing things”
