Thank you Jason good information 👍 I am a weekend warrior and now I want to learn how to professionally paint and finish cars just for hobby. Thank you.👍👍👍
I'm trying to solve an issue of solvent pop on my cabinet door. Could you help please? Using urethane enamel, would adding reducer helps with this issue?
Hi Jason. Thank you for great feedback in this video. As a follow up, what is the the proper consistency of clear? Is it the same as for paints? Thank you again.
Hi, usually clearcoat comes ready to mix. Our clear is either 4:1 or 8:1 with hardner depending on matte, semi gloss or gloss. There is no further reducing required. Hope this helps and thank you for the question.
what is the difference between adding turpentine or thinner to paint? Would the paint last longer after this additive? Can the paint use without additive?
Hi sir, could you pls give me some advice? The entire wall in my home was painted with solvent based sealer mixed with thinner, then 2 coats of water based paints, but after 5 months the smell is still there. I just scrapped off the paint and putty just leaving cement surface but the smell seems penetrating into the wall. How can I do to solve this problem? Can you pls give me some advice? Many thanks
Hi Yundan, You can try applying a few coats of a concrete basement sealer -- the product they use on basement walls to prevent moisture. Hope this helps! Good luck!
@@Dr.ZoidbergPhD We don't recommend using OHW for painting by hand. It is an automotive grade paint intended to be used with a spray gun or with our aerosol cans.
