Yes, land is a productive resource, it's needed for literally anything from agriculture to real estate and recreation, but it shouldn't be repossessed because people/person might fall into financial hardship, which can make development difficult. One should be allowed to pass it down to the next generation who might actually utilise it
I believe land can be a productive asset. I believe people have a prerogative as to what they will do with their assets they have purchased or inherited. Having said that, the only instances I think land should be reposessed is if it's of a particular size and over and is sitting idle for a specific amount of time or if it's foreign investors who have the land and it's just sitting idle for a specific amount of time.
