Is your Vintage Rap T-shirt fake? 

I bought my first whitney houston rap tee from you back in 2016 for $80 🥲💔 I miss those days. But I also think if someone is a fan of an artist, but doesn’t have the money to spend $2k on a shirt why can’t they just rock the “reprint”? I don’t see the crime in someone wearing a shirt they like whether it’s new or old. The newer bootlegs will be “vintage” one day too.

Does this mean the fakes in 25+ years will reach 2K+ in price aswell as they will eventually become vintage 🤔

I'd love to see some sort of "legit or not" t-shirt lineup contest with the people you work with to see how they fare. Like 5 authentic, 5 fakes, can you pick out the real ones and show your work! What gave it away? I'd be down to watch that 👍👍👍

A vintage shop in my city selling a Tupac bootleg for $150 and they refused to believe me when I said that’s a Thailand bootleg not vintage. The print was brand new and shirt wasn’t faded at all. Smh. I was trying to cop it for $50 but they said they know it’s real… smh.

These are not suppose to be for resale. These are meant to be for people who vintage tees but without the price. You see someone wearing these on the street you wouldn't think twice.

I bought a fake ODB tee without realizing. Not super mad I didn’t pay too much for it but does anyone have any advice for drying out the screen print??? Like Drew mentions it has a wet / plasticy feeling.

When you say do your research about where it came from, really the only option for that is to ask the person selling it, right? Most resellers don't wanna share their sources like that so I feel like it'd be rare to actually have them share where it came from unless they're the original owner

The fakes, the single stitch is usually always cinched, not flat on the hems && they usually are a more modern day stretch cotton than originals. The shirt it’s self is thicker and more clingy like a poly blend.

Bootlegs are better than officials from 2010 to 2024. Bootleg any day. Prints are wild and all over the place with double ink leaks.
