RU-vid was really expensive for NFL content and at the same time our Direct TV did not tape games and instead showed a screen that they were negotiating with some company to lower prices- no game.

A lot of the content on YT that I'm into (normally) starts to feel like the Home Shopping Network during Black Friday. Sucks to see YT pushing so hard to make the platform look like that all the time

Yes. Our cable provider bundles broadband and channels. It is expensive. I'll have to take a look and match apples to apples services. It is hard sometimes to make changes when you have been doing it for decades.

We gave it a self imposed 30 day trial run in our house. I was skeptical but I really do love it, particularly on the iPad.

They changed the layout recently and it sucks. Now it is less functional and disorienting for pc users. You mess up something as basic as navigating in it, and everything is ruined, best platform? maybe it was a long time ago...

Nah, everyone will keep posting videos even if they never fix the invalid traffic bug. Because where else can you go? Monopolies don't care because they don't have to.
