IS300 Manual W55 to W58 Swap! 

you have to use the is300 manual driveshaft because the auto one is short and the yoke is different.

any progress ? im currently having trouble on the placement of the lever

I believe it was from my w55

It's the one that looks like a gooseneck(sits back further) the one that's non tripod just has the shifter right above the Trans.

@@danielmorris5470 not necessarily. Makes it go smoother, but they’re too expensive to buy new. Only feasible way is to buy or find a cheap or blown w55 and take the parts from it. It’s better to just buy or fabricate an extended shifter housing

To people reading this I think you could make it work with a shift assy from a JZX100 JDM Toyota part # 33570-22150. It’s meant for a R154 but don’t know it it will fit a w58.
