We just received fifteen ISA Brown chicken chicks. We wanted to document their growth, through to adulthood. This video shows day old chicks as well as one week old chicks. The growth is incredible!

Two things that amaze me are: How fast they grow, and how much of their behavior is encoded in their DNA (scratching, making a dust bath, etc.). It's amazing! Cheers Anne!

The brown leghorns I have are over a month and a half old and didn't really start scratching till I put them with the older chickens. Different breeds do things differently, I reckon. 👍

We've had a few breeds that have scratched from almost day one. They know how to make a dust bath, etc. It's amazing. Thanks for stopping by Nick!
