@@JennSCHWA What do you mean by toe pads? The toe shoes or the filling to protect the toes? If she doesn't use the filling, she tapes her toes. NO ONE can do pointe without protection. But, this is irrelevant to the art. If you are talking about the ballet shoes, she does wear them. Nobody can dance the Petipa choreographies without them.
Either there was a problem with the recording or the orchestra did her dirty. Flat on so many notes. Isabella did beautifully though. Must have been intimating to dance in front of a Russian audience.
It’s only right for her to be invited at the Mariinsky and to dance this role. She’s one of, if not the best Ballerina at the ABT. Gorgeous lines and musicality.
She is one of my biggest inspirations. I absolutely love everything about her! It is my dream to be a part of the ABT studio company. I’ve seen a lot of people lately saying that American ballet dancers aren’t as “good” as the Europeans, but Isabella Boylston is perfection! I love ABT dancers!
Tbh, I was thinking the same 🙈! If you got a real cold and coughing all the time, stay at home, people; I know it's a pity and a shame, because one was excited to visit the ballet or the opera, but it is annoying, if it's a real cold. And unfortunately, the cough won't stop 🤷🏻♀️.
To the tender graceful Giselle soul known as Isabella Boylston-- I've seen long-crafted beauty and physical poetry from you time and time and time again. I see this is one of your full-blown performances. A priceless exhibition, to be sure... but I always got more of the Earth move when I saw you in the classroom.... or out in the snow. I hope you never stop dancing... and I hope you convince anyone else who may be aware of your existence to do the same...
This inspires me to be a ballerina even more! Ik it takes many years of practice, and you can't just master it over night. But when i see this i think of a fairy tale or some kind of disney movie
@@jpearson7758 There is nothing labored about her turns. Nothing clumsy about the turns either. Beautiful dancer in this role. Artless, is just a way to justify your rudeness.
