There once was a young girl long ago who loved exploring the forest. She would head there almost every day but only in the winter. She found a small ravine with a very large tunnel in it and would use it for acoustics for her singing practice. The winter grew harsher and colder every year, but she kept going back and practicing and she got better and better, but she would come to school less and less and she grew more and more distant from her parents. Eventually she stopped showing completely and wasn't seen for decades until a girl by the name of Brianna went hiking through those very woods in the middle of the summer. The girl found the ravine and found the tunnel and went in. She shined her flashlight down the pitch-black tunnel and a feeling of sorrow and dread crept up her spine. then very faintly she heard a very beautiful melody being hummed softly. it was so beautiful that she followed it to the end of the tunnel. But something was wrong... it was freezing cold, and it looked like where she entered the tunnel but mirrored and there was snow everywhere. She looked down to see a set of footprints...bare footprints. she followed them and found a pound where a young girl maybe around the age of 17 or 18 sat humming very beautifully, she wore a fluffy green hoodie and jeans with no shoes. She had long brown hair speckled with snowflakes. The humming turned to singing and then shouting and them screaming, it got so loud and then the wing picked up heavily. Brianna covered her ears and closed her eyes; at this point she couldn't tell the difference between the girls yelling and the wind. Then it stopped. Brianna looked up and saw the girl standing a yard away from her. She had light brown freckles across the bridge of her nose and darker freckles dotting her face. red cheeks and nose from the cold and dark brown eyes with small hints of gold. Brianna looked down and saw that she had a big open gash across her throat and blood running down her chest. Brianna started to scream...but she couldn't. she looked down and saw that the girl was holding something red and dripping in blood. her blood. the girl had her vocal cords. "I'm sorry Brianna but I need to use these please do understand. bye now". The next day Brianna was found outside the tunnel with her vocal cords clutched in her hands and her throat torn open. what had happened? This happened a few more times. and a few times some people claimed to have seen a strange figure with bloody hands and snow in her hair when they found the bodies. Over time she became known by the locals as the Winter Siren. She is said to have a beautiful voice, fair skin, long flowing brown hair, dark golden-brown eyes and red cheeks and nose from the cold. She wears a hoodie that always seems to change colors and jeans and walks around barefoot. No one knows if she is real or not, but they say if you walk those woods there's a chance, you'll hear her singing and she'll lead you to that tunnel. D O N O T F O L L O W H E R
