inspired by this video ( • Isabelle remembers her... ) and me putting last surprise as my island tune
i don’t own the smash bros footage or music but the animal crossing clips are recorded by me
(NOTE from march 20 2021 at like midnight before i sleep: im aware that this happens since i already had it as my island tune! you don't need to keep repeating it in the comments :D i love that youre trying to tell me but im aware, and this video was just for fun!

Can't tell if that first line is a joke or not, but no, this isnt canon to animal crossing. When you make a theme and then you send the same theme again, that's when she says it sounds familiar. It's also why she says "you can't fix what's broken", because it's referring to you not changing the theme.
