For Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures, where it says, ‘The stone that you builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.’ There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. --Acts 4:11-12

Who saw this coming? Anyone who ever watched Hartenstein bust his ass off every time he stepped on the floor. He wants it, and you can see how much he cares about making the right plays and helping the ream win. He reminds me of the old school Pat Riley or JVG kind of Knicks player. Dude is a joy to watch, he plays the game the right way.

want to see a "German dream team" at the olympics with the Wagner bros, Hartenstein, Schröder, Theis, Kleber and the Euroleague stars ..... gonna be fun to watch. of course it's far from a US dream team but could win bronze I'd say. and would be nice to see Hartenstein and Robinson for the Knicks next couple years

I'd resign him at $15M whether or not he remains a starter. He is just too valuable. Before Mitch got injured, I kept saying that iHart and Mitch were THEE reason why they were winning games. That front court duo is statistically the best in the game. I would hate to see him go, but there's no denying how much he means to this team.
@vindigga6
@vindigga6 5 месяцев назад
Respectfully, hes gonna want alot more then 15m and trust theres some bum ass team out there, with cap space, that want to add 20 rebs, 2-3 blocks, 5 assists to their roster. Lets not forget he can stretch the floor and CAN hit open jumpers, specifically 3s. Other teams will know this and throw a bag at him. Plus hes 25 i think. He might command 25-30. I mean what other center in the league can produce like that?
@goated2k
@goated2k 5 месяцев назад
@knowledge120 $30M for 2 impactful centers seems right to me. Better than paying someone like Embiid $50-60M alone who's always missing games and a no show in the playoffs. OG and Hart are 2 comparable duos at SF who are demanding $50M/yr on the books. Both amazing role players who don't put up that many points, but impact the game so much just like Mitch/iHart. Look how well this team has been playing before and after the Robinson injury. You'll start to realize that iHart is a HUGE reason why.
@goated2k
@goated2k 5 месяцев назад
@knowledge120 OG was originally looking for $35M, but would be willing to take a discount if he came to the Knicks. He switched agencies from Klutch to CAA to make this happen so I honestly expect him to be signing a $27.5-30M/yr contract. Knicks are trying to build a championship roster so I don't think they'd trade for him if this wasn't the case and I'm sure there were talks ahead of the trade. As for all the Embiid talk.... that's literally all fantasy. Most likely than not he's not getting moved until the 25/26 season if they have another 2 failed playoff runs. If he doesn't get to the finals with Maxey, he's not going to be doing it with Brunson so I don't think the Knicks would take on that contract at that point.
@goated2k
@goated2k 5 месяцев назад
@knowledge120 By looking at how cost effective this FO is and the fact that no one is above $30M just shows how competent they are and their unwillingness to take on bad contracts that can destroy the team for years to come. With the role that OG will be playing with this current roster, $27.5-30M is beyond reasonable. Regardless, $35M puts him at top 5-6 paid SF in the league and I don't think he's at their level....yet.

Great commentary on IHart. He has been stellar for our Knicks. When Mitch returns I think he comes off the bench to not mess up continuity of the team. There’s a reason why when Mitch was playing and IHart was coming off the bench with the 2nd unit that that unit was getting better results on team ball than the starters and it was because of IHarts play along with IQ and Josh. IHart is a great passer and decision maker on taking those midrange shots, hook shots and back against the basket plays.its no longer a a 5 on 4 game as it was when Mitch was starting
@boricua19jc

We have the luxury of being able to keep Mitch on the bench and bring him back slowly for game shape plus less strain on the ankle, use Sims as well and put Achuiwa as Randle's sub

Mitch is nice and all but he is too injury prone. Also Im worried about randles game when he matches with robinson in the lineup. Hartenstein just opens the floor up for randle better. I would resign hartenstein. Pick up a more reliable backup center(olynk or gafford) Then try to flip mitch and grimes and picks for a superstar

As a German Knicks Fan I was *SO* hyped when I got the Woj Notification that iHart signed in New York. I've always loved his Game for the Clips, so that was amazing. I love the way he's balling out right now, but I definitely expect him to sign somewhere else during the Offseason, so that already breaks my heart. Deciding between him and Mitch also ain't that easy imo. Till his injury, Robinson easily was on pace for an All-Defensive Team, but we also know he has barely any Offense Game. If I was in Leon Rose chair right now, I probably would trade Mitch and extend iHart long term, but I'm also hella biased lol.

Trade Mitchell Robinson. He’s always injured and can’t score like Hartenstein. Complains about running up and down the floor. Keep I Hartenstein who plays with heart and passion. No complaints and not much injuries. Is Robinson injuries real? Never seen anyone else that is hurt like him. Have not seen any other centers or anyone else with so much injuries like Robinson.

I am extremely sorry to say this but Mitch may be trade bait and iHart may be signed by the Knicks. Numbers are the same but offense runs smother with iHart. Robinson Athletic with defense thats elite but definitely is injury prone. Id be reaching out to the Thunder/Spurs. Knicks - Mann, Johnson, McDermott SA-Giddey, Sims OKC- Robinson, Cedi Chet seems capable enough to play PF.

This was one of the best pronounciations by an American of that name ever. I don’t know to which original branch of the Hartensteins he belongs, sometimes regional dialects change the name a bit. But the guy who made the video surely gave his best. In northern Germany his name might be spelled without the Sht sound but with a sharp St, however the ein sound was well done.
