Ain, sheen, and Qaaf are the Urdu alphabets and together these 3 alphabet completes the work "ishq" so poet was taking you through the process of writting each alphabet of word Ishq and its wishfull impact on the desired one until the word Ishq completes.

One of the best songs I have ever heard. The poetry, the thoughts portrayed are out of this world. My favourite are ‘Ain, Sheen, Kaaf and the ISHQ that follows’. Goosebumps through and through. Thank you for reacting and reviewing this masterpiece Jo ❤

For those who didn't understand :- The word 'Ishq' in Urdu is written as 'عشق' which comprises of three letters; aen (ع), shiin (ش) and qaaf (ق). He is simply saying what he wishes during the writing of word ishq as he makes strokes of each letter. For instance, in Hindi, ishq is alo three letter word 'इश्क़' corresponding to their Urdu letters इ (aen), श (shiin), क़ (qaaf)...

This song is so full of yearning, a crude, crushing embodiment of unrequited love. The way one yearns to be close to their beloved, to have their love and the way he brings his desires to life in his imagination because in reality, he won't ever get to have it all. Just beautiful. Also, I came across this ghazal back in 2019 and have been a fan ever since!!! Also, can't thank you enough for this review!!! Used to look it up everyday on RU-vid!!! 💌

Aaen, sheen, qaaf are Urdu letters, together make the word "ishq"....so that line is telling you the reaction of his lover on each letter

This guy and Asfar Hussain's band BAYAAN writes something which is beyond imagination . Lv to you and God bls u for all ur reviews , even we might HV listened to these songs earlier it still feels fresh to hv u on screen and reviewing them 😊

The writer is Pakistani... The singer is kashmiri... The language's are both ---- urdu at start and kashmiri at the end... Which shows a unique and mesmerising blend..... Heads of for the writer he would totally have been in another world while righting such mesmerising lines who's essence is itself a soul if u can only understand....

undoubtedly one of my most favourite songs in my playlist, but Jyoti, it looked like you couldn't understand the jist of those three lines, and for all those who couldn't understand those three lines mentioning Urdu letters "Ain" "sheen" and "qaaf", and together in the same sequence they make the Urdu word "Ishq" .. these three are just letters, so the poet here is trying to say that even when he's just started writing the first letter of Ishq, it'll start reflecting on his beloved, with writing the first letter "Ain" she starts thinking of him, and so on so forth, with writing the second letter "sheen" she gets restless, and with writing the third letter "Qaaf" she starts feeling the love and when he's done writing the whole word of "Ishq" she's already in love with him... Amir Ameer left everyone speechless with such crazy lyrics.. genius ❤
