@brianunboxed I just got the GoTrax G4 and I really love it but I've been reading a lot of reviews about tires going flat and stuff like that do you think I should return it and get this one? Struggling on what to do
I’ve had one of these for a while now and drove around 370 miles total so far. It’s a good reliable scooter for the price although mine only goes 17-18 mph with a range of around 12 miles (it slows down to like 15 mph if the battery goes down to 50%). The breaks were good but now they don’t work so well so I’m trying to tighten things up to see if that works. Overall though I was very impressed with its reliability, and great customer support also
I had the same problem. 17mph max speed on a straight road, 8mph uphill and 20mph on a steep downhill. I then emailed them, explained everything and they sent me a new controller. Changed the controller and problem fixed. Now going 19-20mph on a straight road, about 12-14mph uphill and 22mph downhill. (Mainly depending on the battery level.) When I opened the deck to change the controller I found out that the controller inside the scooter was 17amps. And the one that they sent me is a 19amps one. I don't know why I had a weaker controller in the first place but happy I solved it.
I just ordered mine, I gotta say Im a bit disappointed by the speed from the reviews as it was one of the selling points for me. It seems to me that these things never reach advertised speed. It seems after all to be equivalent to all other scooters in it's price range. Since Im not ready to invest twice the price for the next speed group as my first scooter, this should do nicely. I only weight 130 lbs so hopefully I can get some nice speed.
Hi. How would you define comfort on this scooter? Do the front suspensions really make a noticeable difference in comfort, especially on rough and stony asphalt?
Thank you dude, I just bought this for my daughter for her college commute, she's been using a manual kick one so she'll be thrilled to go EV. Course, it's the least I could do since I just pulled the trigger on a Porsche Taycan Turbo S....so I get an EV and she does too, lol
Looks like we have to get lucky and not get a faulty one, if not we have to contact them for a new controller which seems to be the problem most of the time, my s9 pro which is the smaller version does what it says, maxes out at 15 mph so hopefully this one does what it says too i just ordered one
One thing consistent with all EV companies is they flat out lie about top speed and performance. Still this looks like a fun way to zip around my property quietly.
why is iscooterglobaluk falsely selling this item in the UK with another design and lying that it climbs at 20°. No wonder they do not have a review or comment section on their website.
I bought one one for my son. He got a flat and it has been the toughest repair ever. The screws are on the wheel cover are on so tight that you either break the screw or drill bit. After I got the cover off and replaced the inner tube the valve doesn’t come out far enough so putting air in the is impossible. I have to make the hole on the wheel cover bigger si could connect the pump to the valve.
I just bought the Italian version of this scooter, it is exactly the same product except for the fact that, given the current strict legislation in Italy, it has been limited to 20km/h (12,4 mph). It is clearly design to deliver much higher speed (see the video of your review), do you have any insight how to increase the performance and bring to the same level of yours?
I was not able to exceed 15Mph on Sport mode. I was on a flat road. They claim it should go 21. I would understand if it at least got close to it like 18-19 but 15? Disappointed.
I bought one and I'm regretting now, the speed has been reduced to 10. The meter is only showing 14 maximum at sport mode.😢 Now its becoming a e-waste. Does any one knows how to fix it / factory reset?
Are you sure that's not kilometers per hour? I just got one yesterday and it said 29 on it. 29 kilometers per hour is about 19mph. But the screen doesn't say which measurement of speed it is.
