I like how no one cares enough about Isis to remark on this playlist. Her lack of empathy to Set and compulsive behavior completely killed my respect for her.
I mean to be fair, you have to remember that Seth made her (and Horus’) life hell after he became king for hundreds of years. Her lack of empathy for Seth is both frustrating but yet understandable
@@Sentheagent Pretty sure she realizes Osiris is an asshole, but she still loved him and hated herself for that. He also didn't tell her what happened (she saw and was too shocked to do anything and thats how she knew and is still the only one who knows aside from maybe Ra and Sekhmet ). From my understanding though, right after everything happened he went to her and simply demanded she marry him, she said no, he imprisoned her in a maze (considered raping her it's mentioned), Nephthys told her how to get out and Seth started hunting her down and creating an absolutely hellish world for the humans he was supposed to protect and had nothing to do with what happened to him, for hundreds of years because he was scared and needed the world to know he was big and powerful. Seth didn't deserve what happened to him and was not in the right mind to rule in the first place after it happened. While I understand he was doing what he was doing because he was hurting and I love Seth the character and hope he has a happy ending, I largely agree with young Anubis that just being sorry isn't enough to undo hundreds of years of suffering. Seth is an asshole that is being forced to face the world that is a consequence of his rule and actions and be a better person.
@@Noradeer i mean she knew seths hand was forced that night she didnt help him cursed him and then had the audacity to tell seth 'you should have come to me for my help instead of giving your body to my husband' like she didnt saw osiris holding anubis' life in his hands against seth and she knows this too thats why she is currently stuck in her dream she hates herself for loving osiris but she still loves him anyways and pushes the blame on seth. after that night the only person left for seth as in family was isis and she left him and cursedim him too. His anger was understandable and he didnt learn about horus' existance until the trial
@@moemouse9866she victim blamed Seth after seeing the r4pe scene in front of her, she's an asshole, nothing compared to the real Aset ofc but in the comic she is as terrible as Osiris
i like how isis stood up for herself, but instead of blaming seth, she put the blame of the wrong person and them both becoming deranged. They could have punished osiris. But the manhwa is a pretty good representation of emotions, and not just compulsively showing one emotion per person.
I just always wondered what would have happened if Isis intervened. I understand she was too shocked to, but could she have done something. Could she have stopped Osiris? Could she have killed him? Physically destroy any trace of him so he can't regenerate.
if I wasn't biased, loving Seth, I would have savored her character a little better. Her character is really twisted, yet flavorful, guilt, Ego, angst, despair of her man breaking morals in front of her eyes, her love for her brother, yet complicated hatred, greed, selfishness, tormented by her own desires yet, that's what makes isis, isis.
