Nice video, i feel you when you said you want to avoid big crowds, as a good Nicaragüense, I used to go to party in San Juan del sure back in the day, 16 yrs ago. Now I prefer a much calmer place and definitely hiking volcanoes .. just got a go pro 8 (nice upgrade from the hero3+) but I will invest in the Mic .
Hey Brooke, thank you for watching and thank you for subscribing!!! 99% of my footage is filmed with my GoPro Hero 5 which explains why sometimes my audio is not so good. I do film with my Canon DSLR sometimes like I did for that volcano scene in my video from Granada, Nicaragua. Thanks again!
Oh I just got a go pro (haven’t tried it yet), but I am worried the sound won’t be as good as the Sony action came which I have used since.....2014......ok it was defiantly time for an upgrade haha. What’s the Canon like?
You can hook up the GoPro with an external mic but there are no cases with mounts for the mic and no cases that have a cut out that's big enough to keep the side open were the cable goes. I have a Canon Rebel and when I do use it for filming I use my Canon IS 24-105mm lense.
