Hi, each guide that I used on Ometepe was local. They generally spoke very limited English. But the management of the ecolodge spoke perfect English and I could ask them anything. Because it is such a beautiful experience you really don't need to ask many questions... its more about the experience, so a guide works in keeping you on the right path by showing you the way. Its great... go there!
¡Qué linda, linda es Nicaragua! What beautiful video! I lovev that you did not talk and you let the sounds of nature take over. No need to talk, just admire! Thanks.

Another beauty of Nicaragua is Ometepe Island, in the middle of the Great Lake Cocibolga, in Granada. It has two beautiful volcanoes and the land is so productive. Also you'll see Guacalito, a wonder of nature that has had as guests, Morgan Freeman, Catherina Zeta Jones, Michael Douglas and other well known people
