Aw thank you! We will do our best to sample every single one eventually. Though we rarely put our negative experiences with places out on video (unless they really try hard to scam ... then they get on video 🤙)
Thank you for your honest opinions!! I may have to argue and say the best burger on the Island is at Medera Food & Art. Worth a shot, it’s one of the many restaurants things bringing me back to Isla next week!
Thanks so much for checking us out. Happy to hear you enjoyed it! We will definitely have to check out your burger place when we get back to Isla, have an awesome visit!!
Mango Cafe is always a great choice for breakfast but we stay in Centro near the beach and walk everywhere so (aside from occasional walks down to get pizza) we eat in Centro 🤙😎
OMG, you guys were in MEXICO!! how freaking cool. We are here now. We plan on visiting Isla Mujeres in the next two weeks. Any recommendations? would really appreciate it. The food looks delicious. Definity taking notes in this video. Going to check out your other Mexico videos to get some ideas.
Awesome! The Yucatan is probably the closest thing to a recurring home base we have. Pretty much all of our recommendations are in the videos but if you wind up at Jax to eat in the evening make sure to ask for Henry and tell him hello from us 🤙 Isla Mujeres is A M A Z I N G...y'all are gonna love it!
We definitely need to go to Isla and try all of your recommendation! So nice to see all the food places you ate and then put them together in one video!!! Hilarious that there were so many ties! No worries, we just need to set up TIE BREAKERS!! HAHA. That pizza looked so good though! Make us HUNGRYYYYYYYY!!! Already subbed as always
Try the breakfast stuffed poblano at Lola Valentina. Mine was amazingand worth every penny of 160 pesos. I agree with the juevos devorciados at Tacos Tumbra. Best 50 peso breakfast I've probably ever had. Those were my top 2 breakfast items on my 4 night trip last May.
Try Madera. It is mid island on the Caribbean side. They scratch make they burger and sandwich buns. Very chef driven at isla prices. The smashed avocado really surprised me with the flavor combinations too. Unfortunately they didnt have tuna the day we were there because the photos online looked incredible.
The Soggy Peso on Wednesday has great wings! Where do you stay? We have a friend who owns a hotel on the island off Hidalgo. We were the first big group to return since the start of COVID back in March. Casa Sirena.
Wow! So much great information - I will need to watch this like 10 times! There is an out-of-the-way place where we had excellent fresh fish - the whole fish - I think it was called Kin Ha. Of course that was several years ago, so who knows if it is still there or still as wonderful :)
Thanks Allen! We try to put in prices but do forget sometimes. Hadn't considered the GMO issue, we'll keep an eye on that in the future! As far as getting sick, we never get sick from street food, the only places we've ever gotten sick we're a couple restaurants and on Isla Mujeres we've never gotten sick from anyplace. Have an awesome week and thanks for reaching out!
