It just shows you the dedication these guys have to being perfect in everything they do. He had no problem understanding a single question yet still acknowledges that he can improve his vocabulary and grammar in a few ways. It explains why he's so skilled in all areas of fighting.

I have been following Islam for a long time- one of my favorite fighters. Just incredibly strong and he is on his way to top 5 and then the belt. Islam- your English is coming along great!

Islam has improved a lot. I can seem him becoming champion and keeping the belt up until he retires. That one loss on his record means nothing! All he needs to do is talk down on the fans, maul his opponents and just keep winning. It’s just that simple

If it went longer he probably gets his face smashed into the canvas. That aside he has improved and I think most people going to struggle to beat him. I would favour Dustin over him right now until I see Islam fight better opponents.
his english has improved leaps and bounds within the span of a year. Khabib really coaches these guys on a different level. Not just the fighting aspect, but the business and promotional aspect as well.
@Tri Trunk Khabib's chin is fantastic though. If Makhachev has one weakness, he's been hurt before so a legit striker has a chance. Oliveira and Poirier are both fantastic strikers and are great at jiu jitsu. Makhachev likely can beat them, but two top 2 fighters with great BJJ credentials definitely are dangerous. It's insane to just assume Makhachev would walk over them. And I say that as a big Makhachev fan
@Tri Trunk Dustin had a guillotine in like minute mark 4:22 of R3 that was extremely tight. If he had his R hook in, and if they were less slippery (ie. if he got it R1 or 2) that would have been the end of the fight. It's literally the closest Khabib has ever come to losing. I'm not saying he'd win, but I am saying you can't write him off easily. That's ignorant af

Conor should fight RDA for comeback fight, then loser of Dustin & Olivera or another top 5 guy, then the belt. Then Islam has enough time to build himself up and Conor vs Islam would be big
