Makachev give chance to DP to counter clinch..takedown... Give him confidence but implicitly make DP exhausted... Very intelligent and bring wisdom to the fighting....Respect

habib's problem was nobody wanted to fight lol. Only when he won the belt, his name was being mentioned by others. Before then, everyone was turning it down. Dana confirmed this as well through out his career saying its not easy to find him fights. Once he won belt it was clear why, every defence happened faster and faster with more brutal execution. Khabib was another level who's mastery in grabbling neutralized everybody facing him that wasn't on steroids. What he did to johnson was clear sign this guy was not playing mma. He was mma.

I feel like its hard to compare the two. When Khabib was in the game he was the first w that Dagistani style and since then all fighters are catching up and learning and they'll defence it more skill full.

Islam may not be better then khabib yet, but he certainly looks like he going to out shine him on paper... now he really has everyones attention

Islam already outshines kabib on paper. Who did kabib beat that is better than volk or olivera also islam is better than kabib

Khabib was more dominant and more of a specialist, with the grappling and the top control/ground and pound..Islam is more well rounded and has more paths to victory..Arman has earned his shot, and I have no opinion on when another grown man should retire, not really any of my business..
