Looks like one of those big facilities which has all the track and field stuff . The problem with that kind of a gym is that the air quality is often very bad from the large installed Tartan surface. Those windows are nice though. Natural light inside of buildings is the holy grail of lighting.
That's because that is how any typical judo slam sounds. The person being flipped is supposed to slap the mat as hard as possible in order to break the fall and yes slapping the mat at full force in an empty gym makes big sounds. Yes.😂

It helps when they dont have the gi to grab on to. The fundamentals are sound but much harder when sweating in a fight. If they see it coming you can counter this with a rear naked choke or a back take
@@brodysievers5163 "if they see it coming" is key here. It's not easy to see it if the judoka sets up the throw well and/or kuzushi is good; and even if you see it, it's not easy to pull. How much success did you have trying to apply a RNC against a back-exposing judo throw? I personally have had success, but 99% of the time it's not my merit, but I manage due to some poorly executed throw.
@aneroid4123 Hari goshi relies way less on the gi than an over the shoulder throw. Try to do this move with out the gi and Olivera is choking him out. Islam is a beast but this move isn't useful in MMA with no gi.

Judo is so underrated in the Octagon. I always watch the fights thinking that loads of fighters miss great opportunities to take down their opponent.The throw demonstrated, Ippon seoi nage is such a effective takedown. Even drop seoi nage.
