@ They do mean the same thing, but I (and Sam in the video) are talking about a very specific Baal. Several gods have been referred to as Lord throughout the years, such as Shiva (Hinduism), Allah (Islam), and YHWH (Judaism + Christianity), but that doesn't mean they're all the same god. I've always thought that Shiite Islam is very influenced by Baal worship. Shiites cut themselves up during their ceremonial worship, just like the book of Kings tells us about Baal priests. They do love Al-Hussein And accuse Aisha for causing his death just like Ishtar killed Baal in the mythology. I think Sunni Islam is more related to the worship of Molak though. Molak was the god in the old testament that required people to sacrifice their children. In the Sunni culture that's a given. Thankyou Sam, I have watched a few of your videos, years back before i came to faith in Christ, i had only Sunday school knowledge, my nation has many denomations of christianity and was very confusing. I decided to read and study the bible as i was never taught anything the bible contained other than Abraham ref to Issac, Jacob, David, Babylon and Jesus. So i was shocked by the names, places, content of bible. I didn't even know other religions or gods existed. I was so grieved and shocked reading the bible that i realised the stupard things i had done like going to a fortune teller etc were pagan religions. No one spoke about these, not even my catholic grandparents. I had to dig deeper and followed history with the bible to get a better understanding. My nation at the time didnt have many jews (or you did hear of them, and little knowledge of Muslims. Christian history was hard for me to digest, so i wanted to understand through Jew's who i didnt realise only a small % believed in Yeshua. Most of what i was confronted with were Jews dont believe, so i studied them for a while, the Talmuds etc.. Then i thought muslims believe in Jesus maybe they are the believing Jews.. Wow, it seemed so believable on the surface, but i realised they werent Jews, So with the bible in one hand, and Islam in the other i studied and studied and seen the very enemy of Jesus and his Father. I cried out to God if he wants me to put my faith in the truth of Yeshua he needs to guide me to Jewish believers, because christianity and Islam and Judaism did not agree with New Testament Jewish believers. Anyway 1 week later i got my Answered prayer, and Gave my heart to Jesus. I am so thankful for what i did learn way back then. And have tried to tell others the simple things i learnt. People switch off when it comes to Jews and Islam. Now we have mosques in our cities, our nation had a situation last year, and all the people including our primeminister vailed themselves like muslim woman and surrendered to their solidarity of peace "They are us". I Never knew the association to B**l, but it makes sence and Syria and Islam are very connected, even if their Ma**i. How did other lesser gods and goddesses find their way into the Kaaba? When Mohammed removed all these gods and goddesses from the Kaaba, why did he continue some of the pagan practices like kissing the black stone so his sins could be forgiven? You need to present counter-factual evidence. @K P First, he did not condemn Baal worship in the verses you cited, he only reported the incident. Second, what Mohammed did was to elevate Hubaal and declared him the one and only true god. This became the foundation of Islamic monotheism. Mohammed father called god "allah" when he gathered his children to tell them about the oath he made to Hubaal. Therefore, the god "allah" is Hubaal.

Only 6 minutes into the video but I recall after reading when Isaiah calls all the prophets of baal to pray and call fire down from heaven and burn up the sacrifice, and fails, how they cut themselves in attempts to be heard. I saw the same spirit and false god at work in them then as what is in the Islam faith now. Lord open their eyes.

To add this also, the scientific claims of the Quran have also been debunked. But I will say this, even if there was something which was not possible to know at the time it was written, does not equate to much. From the very beginning the forbidden fruit mankind ate was forbidden knowledge, the tree of knowledge of good and evil, this is linked to satan and not God, so it doesn’t really add weight to any claim. I love people enough to tell them the truth, I reject to be a coward and I love all who read my messages, may the true and living God shine His light and love in your life and reveal the truth of Jesus Christ - he is more than a prophet, much more.

Can you do a look into Dagon/Dagan? Just discovered that apparently this "god" was the father of Baal, and an ancient Mesopotamian diety that preceded Baal.
So this and the video about aliens reminds me of a book called "The Genesis 6 Conspiracy" by Gary Wayne. I don't know if you've ever read or heard about it, but it's an exhaustive study of the pagan deities of every civilization on the planet since Genesis 6, how they interacted with mankind both in history and modernity. I bought it a few years ago and never got very far. It can be tedious, as it reads a bit like an encyclopedia, but these videos reminded me of that material. It's all really fascinating. I had always wondered how Muslims came up with Allah to begin with.
