On this trip, Peter and I took a tour of two very popular Islamorada dive sites: "Roller Coaster" and "Hammer Head". Each of these sites is known for providing refuge for hogfish, groupers, queen angel fish, parrot fish, and the occasional reef or nurse shark.
One of the things I love most about Islamorada diving is the frequency of excellent visibility. It's common to find 40 to 60 feet of visibility on an "average" day of diving, and if you're lucky enough - you'll catch a few days where the conditions are even better than that.
