i have a 2000 tt600 and i would like to know what all you have upgraded on yours. i have a hard time at each takeoff just wanting to be a little boggy. I took in in to the shop and had the 2002 map loaded. Any suggestions would sure be helpful and thank you in advance.
I have also had a few problems with take off with my TT. Upgrade wise i have a pipewerx can and a power commander installed. i have also sent the bike for dyno tuning. most recently i have found a problem with the motobatt battery i had installed (only 1 1/2 years old aswell and not the only one i have had go wrong) anyway new battery and the takeoff is a bit better so check electrical systems?
@@rikkibates4800 This. I had a few splits in my hoses...have since replaced them with silicone hose, tight fitting but clamped to be sure, and since reloading the fuel map...the TT has been silky smooth, the usual bogging down at the lower RPM's has gone. Those hoses are a pain in the ass on these bikes.
From memory, I was using Bridgestone Battlax BT014's at the time the video was made, but since then i have gone over to Avon Storm 3D X-M's but the time for new tyres is near and I'm not sure if I will stick with them or change.
@@alexkerr6099 if you had a passanger 238km would make sense for a top speed. 240km is 149 mph? (I think) and I hit 151mph with room for a little more, all stock, 2001, no fuel mapping or tuning, nothing.
