At the 1982 Isle of Man TT, Ron Haslam finally scored his first TT victory in the Formula One race, riding for Honda Britain alongside teammate Joey Dunlop.
Suzuki's Mick Grant was the early leader, with Haslam pushing him hard until Grant's machine expired on the fifth lap. His demise left Haslam with a comfortable ride to victory ahead of Joey Dunlop and the impressive New Zealander Dave Hiscock aboard a Suzuki.

Early 1980s, sunny days, fantastic bike racing in all that glorious retro gear. Can't beat it.

One of best performances ever at any TT from this 1982 TT when Norman Brown in his first TT won the Senior race on Hector Neils 500cc Suzuki.

I remember listening to that live. Mick Grant was in blistering form and easily the best rider in the race.

Should have ended in 1982 and would have saved many lives. Greatest race in the world BS. Such a selfish event by organiser and rider combined. All the trauma family and first responders have experienced, let alone normal people who consider so off putting. The big winner is the greedy IOM milking tragedy for millions. I hope their souls rot in the deepest departments of hell.

I know you're a troll but ill reply anyway. Its an extreme sport, not genocide. They choose to race, who are you to judge them. The greatest sporting event in the world without doubt. By the way mor people die every year mountaineering on mout Everest. Would you ban mountaineering as a sport too? If people want to do something dangerous then they should be allowed to providing everyone in danger wants to do it. Maybe people don't want protecting from themselves, they want to choose what they do with thei lives. Get back in your padded cell and straight jacket, where you can't hurt yourself if you want but you shouldn't expect everyone to want the same. We all die somehow. Regardless of life choices. Please let this race go on for as long as there are racers that want to do it.

Well it’s a good job we live in a democracy and the majority of people outright disagree with you 😉 It’s also worth noting you can watch literally anything else on RU-vid and completely avoid anything TT related for your entire life, it’s very easy. But here you are, looking for attention 🤣💃
