I was so happy that Eve was able to join me for a flight to Bembridge on the Isle of Wight on this warm February day.
We had a great time there. We had intended to take a walk to the coast but ended up just enjoying the sunshine, a cappuccino and nice meal at the Propeller Inn. We also had the pleasure of meeting Steve and Lily who came to chat to us (just before we departed) and they will pop up in our next video!

Terrific, Dark Lord….. and so great to see M’lady Dark, back aboard as First Officer…….. ( And Hawkeye spotter again ! ) …. Always learning something new from your videos……. Didn’t know ‘Uncle Chris’ was so famous..🤣 Such a lovely sight on the approach from the sea….. Sounds like you may need super wide tyres for the cross country taxi at Bembridge, though….🤭 Well done… Keep’em coming, sir….. Captain Ray 👨‍✈️

Thank you Captain 🫡 My word, the parking area at Bembridge requires careful negotiation 😮 But still worth the visit ☺️ Eve is great as a spotter & having her onboard makes the flight more fun too 🥳 Uncle Chris & the rest of us will do anything to get in the air! 😂 Thanks for watching & your continued support sir 🫡👨🏼‍✈️

As you know, the EuroFOX is such a nicely designed aircraft! 🥰 It does almost everything you need & to such a good level! Hopefully we’re going to see a continued improvement in the weather now we are finally through meteorological winter 🥳

Another fabulous video. The views over this stretch of the coast are unrivaled on a sunny day. I flew from Lasham to Bembridge in the motorglider about 3 months ago and followed the same circuit into 30. The view is terrific and the approach over the cliff is quite something. I was a little surprised that the ground is quite high before it dips down towards the airfield and your video really captures this. I also managed to make the turn off to the taxi way, which was a relief as turning and backtracking the motorglider, which has long wings and a long fuselage, can be tricky in a tight spot. I'm looking forward to my next opportunity to go back. I'm looking forward to the release of part 2.
