Why not make the island a steam train attraction. Stop private cars & coaches from invading the island & persuade all visitors to travel by train or island based coaches. Bring back the many old coach companies that used to operate on the Island such as, Shotter’s,, West Wight, White Heather, Read’s, Paul’s, & many others. Return to the 50’s type of thing when life was wonderful. Yes, those were the halcyon days I remember well.
