When Keychron dropped the Q0 recently I was super hyped to get my hands on it. I've had the V1 Keychron Q1 for a good while now and have done many modifications to it to get closer to a desired sound profile. What better way to compliment that beauty than with a matching numpad? Today we're building the Q0 out with Tecsee Purple Pandas and Tai-Hao Lavastone keycaps. Two prebuilt units delivered to me yesterday. I wanted brown switches but settled for blue to get the case color I wanted. I'll be changing the switches out to brown soon. It has a very impressive build quality. I'm satisfied with it. I will be buying a bare-bones GK21s Numpad in the near future. I doubt the quality of the GK21s Numpad is any better than the Q0 but I like the looks of the GK21s Numpad a little better. I don't normally use a numpad but seeing this one online made me want it.

Nice! Glad to hear you're enjoying the Q1. And yeah, the GK21s is nice and features wireless options. I don't have one but I intend to grab one for myself as well at some point. Just on a low-tier priority bracket, lol. Happy keyboarding!

Mine just came in today. I ordered mine barebones in navy blue w/ a pc plate to match my navy blue Q1v2 knob with pc plate. I have some durock L3 clear/pinks to go in it(just like in my Q1) along w/ Durock V2 clear stabs and gel stab cushion stickers(again, like my Q1), so I’ll be building my Q0 in the morning after I get home from work, which I’m REALLY looking forward to!

I plan to order a POM plate to match my Q1 and doing C3 v3 or TX stabs all around. We'll see. Have other projects that need to get done before we start modding numpads, lol.

My main issue is the top keys are a bit tight against the top so my switch puller has a hard time getting those top switches outs Otherwise a great device. Now add Bluetooth! Also, it’s a perfect size match for my K8 Pro.

I like that there are options without lithium batteries for people like me who keep their board on their desk permanently wired to my desktop PC. Even my Roccat membrane keyboard lasted for a decade. I don't see how a wireless keyboard would be able to do that

Hello and thanks for checking out my channel. The Q0 does not support bluetooth. It is wired only.

It's a tray mounted numpad so it's certainly a stiffer typing experience.

well price is very objective matter, but with it's fine finish and high quality i'd say it's worth , and dont forget its not just a normal numpad , with it's fully customize 21 keys can do a lot of job itself.

Sorry laughing soooo much as now you have a full sized keyboard ! My daily driver is a set of 6x6 Dactyl Manuforms running ZMK, black with black blank keycaps so it's like a Batman(tm) designed keybord. Using Nice!Nanos V2 so it's wireless or Type C wired. I'm currently mid build of a Wireless numberpad to match, but it also has Cursors and the 9 Cluster pg up pg down etc, so I will have more keys than a standard keyboard. (go figure)

@@punkshoo Because the purpose of making a small custom keyboard is to loose the extra keys. Then boom for only £85 EXTRA (price of a full sized Razor Black Window V3 by the way) you can have a full sized keybaord by adding a number pad. It's CRAZY to want to add more key back in to the setup. Only reason I'm crafting the number pad with cursors and the 9 extra keys is because Im bored and need a new project and NO ONE has built one as yet.

Ahhhh. I mean I only use the numpad when I am doing business spreadsheets so its nice to be able to push it back out of the way when not using it. I like 75% because I like 75%. Not because I'm trying to save space. I have plenty of desk space, lol. I just love the design aesthetic. Not really crazy at all to like an aesthetic and still want the occasional efficiency of a numpad for work purposes.
