Thank you. I really love this trick. When I first got into card magic, this was one of the first tricks that got a wow reaction from me. It brings back great memories.
Nice performance. The first transfer was pretty much invisible. I love this effect, but I hate the last move. You've done a great job motivating the action!
exceptional handling, I just recently learned The Visitor and thought I'd surf RU-vid to see how others do it...yours is by far the cleanest I've seen, I guess I have some practicing to do? :)
@TheBradTobin The routine you are referring to is called "LJ visits BJ" (Larry Jennings visits Brother John Hamman). I think it is a fantastic piece of magic. it combines his 76 collectors with the visitor. I do not do it because it is not impromptu; however I like how he uses the card box to make the transfer easier. I love his card work; Ackerman is indeed a great thinker and one of my favorite card magicians.
Thanks. In case you are interested, this particular handling of the visitor is found in "The Collected Almanac" by Richard Kaufman. Good luck practicing!
Thanks. I agree the last move is hard to get away with (not impossible). Also, I have no idea why so many people put the packets toguether at the end; there is no transposition in my eyes when that happens.
I love this effect but ive never found a handling that i thought was perfect, i think allan ackermans come the closest in his version( i believe unpublished) he performs in Hit the Road.
