As an introvert, I approve this enlightening and entertaining video. They say that introverts live in two worlds. One is the world of people; and the other, the world of solitude and inner solace, which will always be our true home.

I used to be outgoing...now I love being alone. I have definitely developed Social Anxiety. Idk if it came with age or the crazy world we live in 🤷🏻‍♀️ I just have zero tolerance for people.

aahhhh :) having a long walk on open areas, sitting on the ground, listening the quite nature, watching my favourite anime without having to deal with my family, than thinking about the life and eventually losing the sense of time, minutes turn to hours, a day pretty much turns in to a month..... I love solitude :D

To me it's fun and normal to be alone. But people can't understand.They understand like I'm an alien, friendless and shy. Whenever they see that I spend time alone, they think I have a fight with someone that something has happened to me.They pity me as if I was left alone, but I feel sorry for them not being able to spend quality time with themselves like I did.

All I really need is music and my own company. Mainly because I get to tired interacting with most people and because others try to get me to be more social when it is just to tiring...

Well, I never knew this was a thing. My Dad shamed me for my whole life for not being social enough. Thank you for this validation because I don’t hate people, but I have always preferred solitude and no one has ever really understood that.

Thanks very much for releasing this video. Now I know that there is a term for my enjoying being away from everyone and for enjoying travelling, camping, hiking, geocaching, and kayaking alone, and that, basically, it's okay to do so. Solitude is my safe haven. Silence is where i feel understood, accepted, and loved. I can be myself 100% and i don't need to "adjust" myself just to please others. The more i try to talk to others, the more i feel lonely and sad because I'd realize that I'm different from them. i feel disconnected from other human but i feel deeply connected to animals and nature. (not self-diagnosed, im indeed a hermit, my human design is the projector 2/4 (hermit/opportunist). my galactic signature is red skywalker, so i feel detached from earth lol, i feel like a stranger here. and astrologically speaking, im emotionally disconnected from family too) thank you for making this video. today i learned new word. 🙏💕

I thank you for making this .... Many people call me fruity or crazy because Im so quiet and I ghost a lot and I hardly socialize with anyone. Im all business. I meet my clients. We talk numbers and law and contracts. Many of them are multi million dollar deals and acquisitions. Its stressful and it drains me. And it makes me sick to my stomach. But I understand now. Im not crazy or fruity. I will not change for anyone. If I crave alone time. And I want to just walk away and stay home or camp in a forest all by myself for days or weeks at a time and its nobody's business where I go and where Ive been. I embrace my isolophilia

when you said "it gives you time to rest physically and emotionally" i 100% agree, it helps me a lot to be on my own letting myself rest from the tiring outside world. I would not describe it at loneliness but rather solitude.

oh hi! it’s me , enjoying my alone time and stumbling across a video that describes me better than i probably could :) also just wanted to say that those of us who do feel introverted or have isophilia aren’t against being social completely, i love being around my loved once’s and having meaningful time spent. i just also need my alone time to recover, i think it’s a trait of being an empath too 💗

I feel so good when I"m alone.

I have always liked my solitude, ever since i was a kid, i remember the first days i realized this was when my older sister could no longer play with me, with her away at school, i had to play on my own, and i grew into that person, that kid. While i enjoyed being alone i would always crave people, while i never have liked being the center of attention, i just liked to be there, to sit among them and listen to their stories and their interests and insights. They inspire me to this very day.. But those same people have seen me slowly changing, ive seen myself change... It is now that i realized back when i would crave to be around people, i remember saying in my head "time for about a hour or more of socializing", thats scary becuase i knew what i was doing even then but didnt truly realize it. And today.. I'm so excited to get my own house, and to be alone.. Though a man in my dream told me i would be lonely, and i would wish that i had never gotten my wish, i know also that it will probably be something i have to learn on my own, in my own time, even if its to late. I want to be alone so much that i believe i have started to worry my mother, and the rest of my family even... But im not worried, because my mental state needs it so much right now, and im coming to terms with it. If i insist on being alone as much as possible then maybe i can get better, and reach my goals, my dreams. If i dont, im stuck permanently as the same person that has been created to many times.. I will die. Being alone is helping me, even if it has strings attached, Con: people get worried and your mental state could never open up and explain. Pro: you change, In-Action is no more, you are free. Dont be afraid to change.. Even if it takes years, Learn to love yourself, i promise, you aren't so bad. Im not so bad myself. I know that becuase of my self protection, i protect two people... Even though i dont really know who either are. P.s. i love you, dont give up, on anything, youll make it out someday, just enjoy the ride, be present.

Thank you for sharing this. Due to recent personal realizations and the whole end of the world, I've discovered I prefer being alone. I can be very gregarious and open, but I feel it as a social obligation more than a personal means of expression. Plus, now I have another word for scrabble.

I'm mostly introverted, but always thought I was ambiverted because I love hanging out with people, and being social is often really fun for me, plus sometimes it makes me feel really energized. However I'm very socially awkward sometimes, and the introvertedness shines through because sometimes even being around just a few friends or family members totally exhausts me. So I'm pretty confused on the whole thing
