Some of those translations ... Most are good to perfect, but some ... Kind of nitpicky, I'll admit, but I always thought "itadakimasu" meant "I humbly partake". I still say it silently in my mind at the beginning of meal, despite not having been back to Japan since 1987.
Also, "Yoshi" (the last vowel often silent) is a type of cheer, not "Ready". The first "Yoshi" by Makino is more an acknowledgement, in this context more like "great! some action!" After each successful kill, it is definitely a cheer. I'd translate it as "Yes!" Again, just me being nitpicky lol.
The Japanese like to believe that is how he died because the search party found him like that outside the plane. In truth I think he was shot in the head since they found teeth by the plane years later. The body was never viewed.
