Great video I was wondering have you put another mic inside the Box to see what it sounds like? How does the U87 or tlm103 sound in there? Keep them coming fam. I'm going to look at one now!!

Thanks for the video and review. I own the IsoVox and it gets the job done. I purchased it without the microphone and use my TLM 103 with the hood up ( my studio is also acoustically treated) and the results are great!

I find my own and everyone elses recordings in the Isovox just too boxy and muddy. Unfortunately I really need this booth to be able to record at home. After hours of testing I found out that if you use one of those cheap Kaotica Eyeball ripoffs inside the Isovox, it reduces the problem slightly. Getting closer to the mic will get rid of the canny sound. And with a 0-400hz band on a MB compressor in combination with Soothe 2 on the 0-100 region and a dynamic EQ dip in the 90-200 region will definitely get you legit results. So for anyone reading this, only if you really can't figure out another way to record properly you should consider buying this. It definitely has it's benefits but the downsides just weigh more. It's fixable but it'll take you some more time than usual.

Hey Archie, I have the iso vox 2 and been using it for about a year I recently purchased the u87ai and was wondering do you think based on your experience with the isovox does it take away from the u87 natural characteristics being boxed in that booth.

I just got a Townsend Labs Sphere and I wanna get this because of the isolation, but I'm nervous it will sound "boxy" or "bassy" I don't want to buy an additional mic right now. Is it still worth the investment?

How would you compare this to the alctron pf8 pro? I've been using that since I like to read my vocals from my phone while recording. I had to leave my booth in my recent move and have been looking at studiobricks 4x6.

I have the IsoVox 2 and it adds a lot of bass frequencies to your recording. I had to buy the Maag EQ2 to add some air and use a DBX eq to cut out the bass frequencies going into my interface. I use the Warm wa87 but I might have to buy the IsoVox condenser mic

hey man, i know this is off topic of the video, but if i have a audio inter face and a 250 ohms headset but i need a better amp to power it (THX DAC AMP ), how would i connect that into my audio interface, or does it go into my pc. like would my daw only notice my audio interface and not my connection through to my Dac/AMP>headphones? been finding it hard to get a bit of info on this. sorry if i made it confusing

@@Isovoxbooth Hi :) i think it's the wrong approach, vocals sound better in an open space than in the isovox. The way in which the depths are present in the recording can hardly be found with an EQ. especially because with isovox there are more resonances than before
