Such beautiful visions and heartfelt welcoming ! Silent invitation and tapping on your window as Blue calls keeping up the Rhythm. The Moon and stars sing. Love this….a beautiful walk and ride through your dreams! So lovely my FRiend🌹🎶🐝
Hello, Rich! I am really glad to send you off to dreamland and I hope you had very happy dreams, my friend! Thank you so much for coming over to listen and for being so nice, always!
That's absolutely beautiful dear Nancy. Love your sooo satisfying dreamy imaginative lyrics and lull of the gentle dreamy special way you deliver them to us, like turning pages of a treasured dear picture book we escape to for some moments comfort from this hectic world Have a beautiful week dear Nancy ❤🎶🐎🌛🌿🐦✨
Wow! Thanks for sharing this beautiful video, lovely voice and playing, love the background video 👍👍👍👍❤❤❤ Like and support 👍👍👍👍❤❤❤ Take care and God bless!
@@nllleonard Glad you're enjoying the shorts, Nancy....thanks for the nice words. Always know that you never have to watch the shorts either. I just come to your channel because I love what you do, such beautiful songwriting. A lot of the time now I'm off You Tube because of things going on in real world time, but when I'm on here, I will always come visit. Hope you have a wonderful week, my friend! :)
It's a pleasure to listen to your dreamyyy and delightful song, Nancy !!!!!!! Loooove the line "my garden’s growing and I walk there in my dreams" 🌺🐦🌿🌹
Oh, Nancy, what an enchanting dream I've just here. I rested here "in my unknowing and perceiving of the unseen." And the garden bloomed as never before. And the fiddle sang as never before. And those hoofbeats kept time with the timeless. Your garden is a balm for the wandering soul in the wandering wind. Bravo and thank you. xo
Hi Kat! It's just a little sketch...again... Probably should save my ideas for summer, when my voice comes back but you know me. Thanks a lot, dear Kat, for coming to listen! I hope you will have a very good Mothers' Day!
A very poetic walk in your garden Nancy. ♫•*¨*•.¸¸✿. I've learned a new word (type of rose). Beautiful song-writing and slideshow as always.. All the best !
Thank you very much, Julane! It is a wonderful rose, that one. They say it covered hillsides in Persia...and is grown in walled gardens there, still. I have one in my front garden and it has been a joy. Very best wishes to you, too!
@@nllleonard I have a lot of roses along one side of my property .. growing rather wildly. They were over 12' tall at one time, creating a wall of roses. They were cut 'way back but growing taller again. 🌺
Never can tell around here! Coyotes, wild turkeys, armadillos, and a crazy biting feral cat named Pierre... Had to take my dog to the vet after he picked a fight with a beaver in my back yard! So far, no basalisks. But maybe that's because I have several pots of holy basil! THanks a lot for coming, Don! I just discovered that I had lost track of you once again and have subbed...again!
Tom! Thanks so much! I'm really glad to find you here...have been wondering about where you might be! Chagall always stirs my imagination and blue horse especially! I like the chicken, too!
@@nllleonard I am still south and headed towards winter...the wood stove is burning and the cat is in the closest chair and the dog asleep directly in front of it. Sunny today after several stormy days of wind and rain. I took a walk on the beach and filled a pail with shells :o)
@@nllleonard they are nondescript for the most part, though most have a light blue stripe on the edge where it is normally pink. Not sure what I will do with them. Been thinking about a small fountain/pond with a little pump and the shells might make a nice little feature
Love hearing you sing and play for us again, Ms NAncy! Truly balm for the soul. Always a joy to go dream walking with you. Side note: I was playing guitar downstairs a couple days ago when I heard a tap, tap, tapping on the window of the French doors. I thought maybe my neighbor had come over to see about playing a few tunes or hands of cribbage. Turns out it was one of the wild turkeys that roam the woods out back. They drop by every so often just to check on things and entertain us. And speaking of entertaining, thank you for entertaining us with another of your wonderfully written and performed songs. Bless you. ~ Mark
Oh, that is so nice...that you have turkey friends! We occasionally have a lone female wild turkey who passes through our neighborhood but she is pretty skittish. Also glad that you have such amiable neighbors, Mark. That makes life better for sure. I am so pleased to find you here listening and to catch up a little with your day-to-day! It's kind of like visiting over the fence! Love and blessings to you and yours! Thank you, Mark! NAncy
Enjoyed this so much Nancy. I'm always so struck by the way you paint pictures in my mind with your lyrics. It probably comes naturally to you and seems like no big deal but it's a real gift that you possess.
I do try to convey the vignettes and ideas that come to me for songs through my word- sketches, so I am truly happy to hear that I painted pictures in your mind, John! Thank you for listening and for your kind words. I appreciate what you said!
OH !.....NICE.....Nancy this is a fine song, and balanced beautifully. Voice at it's best here, with Chagall's Blue Horse playing percussion with hoofbeats. Magic. Well done Nancy. I'm delighted. p.s. I didn't realise when your song finished , that Merlefest 2010...thought..." hey what's this ? " SO, clicked on , Doc Watson...what a bonus. ..Megan has an old gardening book..ISPAHAN mmm
How kind you are, Jim! Springtime in Georgia is beautiful but the pollen is plentiful and my voice always suffers until summer. I'm so happy that you were delighted, friend. Yes, Merlefest 2010 is my channel too, and I was fortunate to see a lot of Doc over the years at that festival, plus quite a few other wonderful artists. I'm glad you found Doc and listened! Nice that Megan is a gardener, too! I'll bet she would love Ispahan! THanks for all of your kind comments, Jim! Best wishes to you and Megan!
Who knew? I have a fabulous book that told me all about it. Apparently, holy basil (as opposed to common basil) is also a code to let suitors know that they are welcome, and a headache cure! This book gave me a lot of song ideas! I will investigate your song on basil soon! Thank you, Daniel, for kind words and for letting me know about your song!
