[edit: Apparently I should put a *Trigger Warning* ]I'd say Jon Jones is, but Jones has slipped so far into obscurity I guess I would have to agree that Alex is just because.
@@BG-lg6sl what? 😂 how can u disagree this literally is his most important fight because he already lost twice to the dude in kickboxing and now he has to get a win back in mma, ur an idiot for trying to contradict my comment bruh.
@@thephilosopher7173 bro the jon jones thing isnt happening they are too far seperated in weight and honestly i dont even think anyone wants to see that at this point. It was kind of an interesting idea until he lost to Jan now it doesnt even sound realistic tbh
That's a statement that is underrated to the whole situation. Pereira wasn't even close to his prime when they first fought. That's a crazy thought, but with that being said I think Izzy is capable. First to shot loses the battlem but it doesn't matter if it wins them the war. This should be great.
Not an uncommon story for guys to begin MMA training as part of some larger self-improvement project, whether it be to help them overcome addiction, obesity, etc.
Maybe one of the reasons that Alex looks at Lady Adesanya like that is because Izzy said that Alex wasn't going to amount to nothing after he got beat by him. Izzy said that he would probably just end up in a bar drinking... Alex heard that so Hopefully he makes him pay💥💥💥 I just heard the commentary talk about that 👁️ He didn't end up in a Bar, he is ending up in Izzy's FACE!!! 💥😂🔥
@ Biden said the n word with a hard ER well sir you obviously no nothing about striking then. It’s not just about speed it’s about timing and if you watch Pereiras fights his timing is awesome.
Imagine standing in front of Poatan in the rainforest knowing when you run he will chase you after giving you a headstart to make it interesting using throwing spears.
@@annajmanannajman9171 Children bro??? 🤦🏽♂️ I guess you have not watch much UFC. Not for very long anyways because Romeo Whitaker x2 Jan. You don’t become a champion or damn near beat a champion and not be really good… there is not many people who can beat any of those guys. especially Robert Whittaker. I think Robert Whittaker beats Alex Pereira. I actually think based on what I seen a few of the guys Izzy has put away could beat Alex. Costa would be a good fight. Y’all must have forgot. Besides all of that Alex looks like a weight bully more than anything imho.
Actually he starts nodding his head. So I think it was half being terrified but also half having mad respect and nodding in approval of how badass that sh*t looks.
Periera looking like he's going to sacrifice adesanya to the ancestral spirits of the wild hunt and consume his still beating heart to add Stylebenders power to his own. I dig it.
Just for the record...Apocalypto was about the Mayans in Central America...Pereira's was representing Brazilian Amazon tribe but I get you're point. That was a good prop.
@@Bringmeoneofthosechickens look bro I ain’t gonna tell you how to live your life, but the only way racism is gonna die is if people like you stop talking about it. All I did was compliment the fight and you made this about race. You’re not doing anyone any favors, you’re just trying to cause problems. And Alex Pereira had tribal roots. At least research the guy before you make any stupid remarks.
Alex: This means a lot to me. It’s a big opportunity for me. I am here because I’ve build this opportunity for myself and I am really happy to be here. I’ve said everything I have to say, now I just want to fight.
It’s going to be harder to fall asleep tonight. Not just the anticipation of the fight but Pereira is terrifying. I don’t blame Adesanya’s for sweating this one.
@@yanmagno3 dude are you slow or something? It's the people izzy fights that make shit boring. It's not Izzy's fault people are afraid to strike with him. And constantly try to wrestle him.
Izzy knows he's about to fight the man who isn't intimidated or in awe of the "Stylebender Champion of the World" mental edge that gave him the mental edge in his other Title defenses.
Lol, I’m sure Costa, Vettori and Whittaker were all in awe of the mighty Israel and that’s why he won… cope. He was just better than them… It’s that simple.
First thought for after seeing both fighters: Alex is a killer and Izzy looks ready for this one. This will be the highest level of striking in a title fight possibly ever
@@dootpooter4740 I sepeak spanish and i can understand portuguese due it´s kinda similar, and the translator didn´t say what exactly Pereira said, but it was nothing important
Can’t remember seeing 2 fighters in better shape than these 2, very similar builds, but the length of Alex’s arms, & size of his hands, holy hell. Picking Izzy wont be wanting to get into a grappling competition. If Izzy wins this, no matter how, he gets all my respect. He has fronted every #1 challenger, that in itself is amazing. Bring it 💪👌
@@nikmo7360 No, Alex is 6’4. 2in taller than Izzy. A lot of people (including himself) like saying he’s 6’4, but he’s not. He’s 6’2…Izzy and Jan are same height, which clearly showed in their face off. Jan is the biggest Izzy has fought. Alex’s also only one Izzy have fought with same reach
Either Pereira is taller than 6'4" or Adesanya is laying about his height. I mean . . . Paulo said that Adesanya lied about his height. I kinda believe him now
Alex has literally never looked away first in their face offs I know that doesn’t actually mean much for the fight but it’s absolutely terrifying to watch
Ya but... did you watch Leon Edward's avoiding all the intense eye contact from Usman, before he knocked Usman out? Just saying sometimes at least it means very little.
20 Year's or something from now, would be nice to see both fighters as friends, kicking back n remembering these Days when they had to face off each other
I feel guilty for feeling this scared for Izzy, because the last time I felt that way, he fought Costa.. We all know how that went down but that damn Pereira scares the shit out of me
These dudes are massive! Imagine being an ancient warrior and seeing this guy coming at you with a sword in his Hand 😂😂 Let's be real 99% of men would be shitting themselves
Finally we see a guy who can physically challenge Izzy. This will be like when Jon fought Gustafson. No running or pot shoting at distance with jabs and leg kicks. This dude has the skills to check the leg kicks and the range to land his own. If Izzy manages to win even a boring decision I won't hate. Because this is an equal fight now we can't claim Izzy just ran or leg kicked to a decision because Alex has all the tools to stop that and is a world champion kick boxer something Izzy never achieved.
@@virgillopez8321 yeah it’s respectable/relatable though, we’ve all had times we’ve been nervous. We’re seeing someone fail to put on a show for the first time, Izzy is different this time around.
UFC just transported the deadliest brazilain native warrior to the MAIN stage. Not phased by anything or anyone and ready for war! Predator might struggle with this one!
I've been following and keeping a close eye on these two fighters since their amateur days. Both Izzy & Alex have their own individual strengths and weaknesses. Both have a lot of history, with a mix of some politics involved in Izzy & Alex's second KB fight they had. I believe both fighters are almost equal in their martial arts. But what people are forgetting to understand is this fight isn't in a KB ring now, its in a cage. A place where Izzy has been dominating his last 11 fights. The ball is in Izzy's court. As much as i'd like Izzy to win, Alex just looks like he just came back from a 3 year war and has come back the last man standing. And Izzy looks like he went to train in the Hyperbolic time chamber for centuries and is now back to take back what is his. I cannot wait for this insanity to go down in the next 24 hours. Who ever wins, will make history.
People are forgetting to understand it's in a cage and not a ring? You speak like that isn't literally the most obvious thing to everyone watching this.
One of the greatest fights in UFC history this is Izzy's biggest challenge to date but I think he wins by decision if he gets the knockout I'd be highly impressed and he gets his revenge
This fight has a different energy around it I feel like we gonna get a war similar to the Gastelum fight where they hurt each other and the toughest man gets the win 💯
@@noideaa leg kicking from the outside only works for izzy cause his opponents are not as lengthy as he is and a bit hesitant to push adesanya since he is the more decorated kickboxer and a great counter puncher... i don't think thats thats the case here alex is just as long if not longer than izzy, he's a more accomplished kickboxer, and a counter striker as well, and unlike izzys last opponents he has the confidence to actually stand in the pocket with izzy especially with the confidence from their 2 fights.. Im not rooting for anyone i just want to see fireworks
It could easily be 0 - 3 instead of 3 - 0, but Alex stamina is just incredible. The way he fights last rounds is absolutely outstanding. He deserves it.
