I knew about the 9th of Av and was looking for some clarity on the subject but let me say that while we get focused on praying for Israel and ofc we should that Israel is a physical representation of the Church of Jesus Christ and what they go through in the natural physical war we fight in the Spirit God’s people are in a war to deliver us from those enemies that have been living amongst us In the west our enemies are ones that can’t necessarily be seen and while the world gets darker and darker God saves and takes care of His people You didn’t mention the 10th of Av which is the opposite of the 9th because it’s famous for being the turnaround day for Israel We as the Church never talk about this but Israel is our home on the earth and we will live there one day and it will be soon That whole area of the Middle East through Iraq to Kuwait was promised to Abraham and if you read the Bible Canaan and His cursed descendants took residence in that area because that’s where Eden was and the plan of God through the redemption Jesus won for us at the cross is to restore Adam to the place that was given him and the Church is that plan that we have an inheritance and right now we’re going through a war to take ground that has been lost in the Spirit Our enemies are enemies of sickness and lack and death and this year has been about the Church regaining that ground and many won’t ever see it not because God hasn’t promised it but because of unbelief Understand that unbelief is not doubt We can have doubts and falter in our faith but unbelief is when we have made the choice to rely on our own self effort rather than the Word of God and faith in Jesus to fight the battles for us The Book of Joshua is about taking the land and Joshua it’s a type of Jesus The names are almost identical in the Hebrew and if you read the book it’s Joshua that fights the battles Our battle is to pray, hear the promises and believe and it is a fight It’s called the good fight of faith God is delivering His people from the enemies and giving us the promised land which ultimately will be on the day will be Israel but for now we are living in this world and each one of us has a calling and the enemy is fighting hard to distract the Church and use everything He has to stop us from taking the land which will ultimately bring in the harvest
The Persian people doesn't. The actual Iranians love us and there are many good friends among the people from both sides. The government does (and its followers). It's because of their religion. As usual. Most devout Muslims do not love Jews or Israel for that matter. They also hate each other (take a look at shi'ite vs sunni Islam). It's a hateful religion and full of violence.
Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy. Israeli prayers will be in vain while they are forsaking God and doing the things that God hates like shedding innocent blood.
