This is one of the main pillars of my argument as to the Jewish heritage for Israel over the bogus claim of the 'Palestinian's'

Before that, the same piece of land was under British Rule, until Jordan illegally took control of it in 1948. The British occupied the land after conquring the Islamic Ottoman Empire which had OCCUPIED the land after Muslims conqured it from Crusader Christians who had recaptured it from the first Islamic OCCUPATION, who had 'stolen' the land from the Byzantine Christian rule, who inherited it from the ROMAN occupation who stole it from JEWS. In all that time, there was never a cultural idenitity known as 'Palestinians'. Those who claim that there was must provide documentation, but they never do. The best they can do is show references to the BRITISH Mandate of Palestine, which only used the term 'Palestinian' as a non-ethnic geographic term -- ignoring that the British Mandate of Palestine was itself an OCCUPATION, continuing in a long line of occupations of the Land of Israel -- the only nation in existence today which both originated in this Land as well as ever had sovereignty in this Land.

I would like somebody to show me a one single Muslim Archaeology item which goes back more than 1,400 years since Islam took over this part of the world by sward. A coin, a scroll, a building. Something.

Thousands of years of ancient Jewish life was destroyed by Jordanian Arabs and the now assumed "Palestinian Arabs." Jerusalem was ransacked of Jewish artifacts; Arabs paved streets and side walks with thousand year old Jewish headstones from Mount of Olives. Solomon's Stables were vandalized by Arabs to destroy Jewish identity. Jews were barred from praying in Jerusalem's holiest cites by the Arabs. Today, wealthy Arab countries but mostly left wing European states/EU, spend hundreds of millions of dollars on left-wing NGOs inside Israel that produce a sea of anti-Israel rhetoric and propaganda. Professors at Israeli universities, news papers like Haaretz and duplicitous NGOs like Breaking The Silence operate with foreign funds to make Israel look like bunch of brutal Jews who are denying Palestinians basic rights. These NGOs operate in similar fashion like NGOs in the West who use cover of human rights organizations to create Islamist apologia that blames all the problems of Middle East on Western/American and Israel's policies. “Palestine” is residual word of the era of empire and occupation. The term was coined by the Roman Empire which occupied Judea of the Jews, and then adopted by the Ottoman and finally the British Empires. Anyone who reviles the idea of empire and occupation must throw this lingering nomenclature of that dark era into the dust bin of history. “British Palestine” must go the way of “British East Africa”, “German Togoland” and the “Dutch East Indies”. The Jews - the indigenous people of Judea have not forgotten and will not compromise with that moniker of occupation and neither should the world.

It is fascinating to see how these archaeologists have such a short memory and have forgotten how so many archaeological sites in the holy land of Israel have been raided and destroyed by the Arabs that lived nearby. So it is a wonder why archaeological sites in Israel have to be closed and graded to protect the loss of data and artifacts that tell us about our past.

I spent four "dig" seasons in Israel in the Galilee region on archaeology excavations at Bethsaida. Amazing adventures!

Only this is actually a 10-year old clip. So, what did the archeologists find eventually? Isn't this what interests the viewer? Well, quite a lot in fact. Proofs of the city of David in Jerusalem under Siluan including David's palace (which can now be called "David's historical palace" since it's not just a biblical thing anymore). David's Judean city before he conquered Jerusalem was also discovered. In samaria - relics dating back to the Samaritan settlement and even before, to the kingdom of Israel. In Tel Dan they found an plaque reading "thanks to the house of David", dated to the 10th century BCE.. So it's not just "Archeology VS Palestine". Its simply the truth VS "Palestine".

Very interesting presentation although I do not necessarily agree with the spin. Consider the other major site in Jerusalem - the Temple Mount. Islam controls the Temple Mount. If you are a Jew or a Christian, your presence on the Temple Mount is not welcome. Even with overwhelming evidence that the site is a critical historic site for the Jewish people, Islam excavates into "Solomon's Stables" area, destroying plenty of artifacts as they create their mosque. During the process, artifacts are broken, and thrown into a dump with rubble. The mosques were expanded with no concern for the history or importance of the site. Everywhere Islam is, they destroy any evidence of a culture before them. The artifacts that have come out of the Temple Mount rubbish from the Temple Mount Sifting Project are incredible and offer incredible evidence that Israel was here 3000 years ago. It also showed that Islam has no interest in protecting history. Now we even know the tile floors in the mosque built into Solomon's Stables really came from the temple courtyard. Islam tries to rewrite history. The Temple Mount is a perfect example of why Israel should protect the historic City of David. At least Israel is truthful about Canaanites being there before King David.

That is not the temple mount where the mosque is....thats the remains of what was the Roman fortress of the day....the temple of Solomon is in the city of David....beneath the Roman fort.

I agree that Jews and Arabs ought to get along together, as we all benefit from each other. The specific problem with Silwan, as in many other places where there is an Arab population, is that often the Arab youth hate the Jews. When I last visited Silwan in the 1990s, where I went to immerse in a natural spring, about four Arab teenagers stood in wait for me, and when I got out of the water and got dressed, they began to throw stones at me. Luckily I wasn't hurt. Had the people lived with mutual respect for each other, in peace and in tranquility, there would have been no need for guns. Meanwhile, the guns keep the peace.

There needs to be an agreement between the Palestinian authority and Israel. Unfortunately, I don't see them living together. I think it's possible for them and Israel to live side by side and in peace, much the same as Jordan and Egypt. The land on both sides of Jordan river, Jerusalem, suburbs, Bethlehem, Hebron all belongs to Israel. If Palestinians want to coexist with Israelis they can do so. But they should not claim those areas as theirs. When Jews were scattered by various foreigners these pagans from Gaza came and occupied these places. It appears that the City of David Archaeogical park it not open to the public as presented by this unknown Israeli archeologist. However it is, fully open 6 day a week from 8 am to between 2-7 pm each day depending on the season/weekday. It is partially accessible 365 days a year 24 hours a day. I do compliment the video on giving two sides of a complicated subject.
