Yet neither source will state the obvious truth, that Israel is massacring civilians in a brutal campaign of collective retaliation that is evil beyond comprehension. Mutilating babies and grandmas, turning the lucky ones into pink dust and burying alive the ones that briefly survive. What has the world come to that anyone thinks is this is acceptable? 😢

So true. Its why this period of time is called the "Information Age" although me, I personally prefer the bronze age. Things were simpler back then. You hear thunder and your village elder interprets that as "the Gods are angry. Start the rain dance " whereas today the weather channel interprets it as "a warm front is combining with a cold front. Prepare for a 50% chance of rain*" *50% because even when it's raining outside, the weather man is wrong half the time 😅

So, WHO created HAMAS and WHY? According to Zeev Sternell, acknowledged authority on modern Jewish history and columnist for Haaretz, HAMAS was created by Israel to counter the growing popularity of Arafat's PLO. Other sources provide this information. Sheikh Ahmed Yassin forms Hamas as the military arm of his Islamic Association, which had been licensed by Israel ten years earlier (see 1973-1978). According to Charles Freeman, a former US ambassador to Saudi Arabia, “Israel started Hamas. It was a project of Shin Bet, which had a feeling that they could use it to hem in the PLO.” [COUNTERPUNCH, 1/18/2003; DREYFUSS, 2005, PP. 191, 208] Anthony Cordesman, a Middle East analyst for the Center for Strategic Studies, states that Israel “aided Hamas directly-the Israelis wanted to use it as a counterbalance to the PLO.” A former senior CIA official speaking to UPI describes Israel’s support for Hamas as “a direct attempt to divide and dilute support for a strong, secular PLO by using a competing religious alternative.” David Shipler, a former New York Times reporter, later recounts that he was told by the military governor of the Gaza Strip, Brigadier General Yitzhak Segev, that the Israeli government had financed the Islamic movement to counteract the PLO and the communists. According to Martha Kessler, a senior analyst for the CIA, “we saw Israel cultivate Islam as a counterweight to Palestinian nationalism.” Further, according to an unnamed US government official, “the thinking on the part of some of the right-wing Israeli establishment was that Hamas and the other groups, if they gained control, would refuse to have anything to do with the peace process and would torpedo any agreements put in place.” And to quote from the link below, ...."The Hamas had built its strength through its various acts of sabotage of the peace process, in a way which was compatible with the interests of the Israeli government. In turn, the latter sought in a number of ways, to prevent the application of the Oslo accords. In other words, Hamas was fulfilling the functions for which it was originally created:... to prevent the creation of a Palestinian State. If Israel's creation of HAMAS was for strategic purposes, that of disrupting the peace talks and preventing peace in Palestine, in accordance with Oded Yinon's "A Strategy for Israel in the Nineteen Eighties" which details the plans for the greater Israel (including all of Palestine), it should be of NO surprise to anyone that the ISRAEL'S "HAMAS Charter" is full of aggressive threats and calls for Jihad. It could be said that HAMAS is the MOSSAD's greatest ever creation, as effective today as the day it was created.

I'm indifferent to this conflict as much as the one in Ukraine. I guess I simply don't associate with any of these sides. I only hope the children, pregnant women, elderly, and animals don't suffer. The men have the responsibility to fight, defend, and figure it out. I have my own relevant worries involving the potential US vs China and US vs Mexico to stay interested in wars fought in other continents. Even when our world is globalized, many countries can still survive without the countries involved in war. I just happen to live in a country like that. I can still hope for peace. What actually takes place is another story. I guess that sums up a lot about me as a person.

No more Palestinian oppression in Gaza an open air prison, they have the right to be free too. they are no diffrent than us they want to live free and peaceful life's but they can't under the thumb of Israel that's why they fight back. It’s really not. Censorship is never good. Look at the % of people that live completely unaware of reality. Never known war, and rarely struggle. To the point that struggle is forgot, therefore never taught to the next generation. Completely blind to the world around them, dealing with subjective struggles because they’ve never known true struggle. By definition, the only people that benefit from censorship, is those that wish to hide something. Ask yourself who really benefiting from hiding human nature?

One of the possible reasons why the wall around Gaza was easy to breach: There's a controversy about the company that was set to build the wall. The soldier that appointed the company and the CEO were friends, and it wasn't won by tender like all IDF and government related stuff. An Israeli documentary shows that a lot of money to build the wall was taken to build other things for the military, to reduce cost and time. It also shows people walking freely into and out though holes in the fence (although that was from the west bank)

You mentioned China’s attempt at weakening the US, and trying to gain more influence in the middle east. I can’t help but wonder if they have also encouraged this war so as to lower US stockpiles of missiles, artillery, and projection of power (i.e. 2 aircraft carriers) after we have already been draining our supply supporting Ukraine. This would help in their move on Taiwan. Just a thought. We get spread so thin in multiple conflicts thus making it impossible to concentrate on stopping their plans.

But, never discount the fanaticism of Muslims who still feel entitled to Israel's land when they are still occupying land that historically belonged to Israel. What a great job on this fact filled documentary. I just find it so sad that there's so much "hate" in the world based on religion, race and politics. I've been very fortunate to travel to many Muslim countries and have always been treated with respect. This would include Israel where l also crossed into the West Bank and interacted with the Palestinians. Again, the people there were very hospitable and friendly. I guess that's why it bothers me so much and breaks my heart to see so many lives lost since I have so many positive memories of my time there. The one thing l will add is that there was no justification as to the terrorist attack initiated by Hamas last week.

you are correct as an Israeli I know many Arabs in Israel and Judea and Sumerian (the west bank) and 90% of them have been nothing but nice to me I like to travel and I try and talk with as many people as I can in Hebrew and my Arabic (that I'm still learning so its a bit hard and I sometimes switch to Hebrew) and 99% (only one person that I talked to did not want peace and after that I didn't bother talking to him anymore) of the ones I talked to say they wish for peace with Israel and even say that they would rather live in Israel than in any Arab country and sometimes struggle handling themselves in Arab countries (the variant of Arabic mostly spoke in Israel is so Integrated with Hebrew that a lot of Arabic speakers find it Hard to communicate with the Turkish Saudi and Moroccan variants and those only the ones I was told. as much as the Arab language is prominent it is not a really singular language and pronunciations can varies even from village to village and the best example is how they call Jerusalem - Elkutz it it changes very much even only in Israel example I heard are: Elyutz, Elgutz El'utz Eljutz and Elyus I heard also about pronunciations suuch as Eltutz Elyosh Elshutz Elhutz and two that I never understood where it comes from: Elayus and Alyos and to be honest I am not sure are real could be either my mishearing or some sort of joke I didn't get) I eat at many Arab restaurant and always try to Order in Arabic. there is a very Important saying in Hebrew: "דברי חכמים בנחת נשמעים מזעקת מושל בכסילים" meaning: "The words of wise men are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that ruleth among fools." my father always said to me: "never mistaken being loud for being many in numbers" fools calling for hate or mascaras are incredibly loud especially in this day and age of the internet, never mistake that for being neither correct nor great in numbers, remember always looking on the ground and seeing what people outside our screens say sometimes. I tried to post this elsewhere, but couldn't get youtube to make a new post for some reason, so I've doing a reply here instead. This is a real vent to. In regards to my original post, Real Men (and Women and LGBTQ) go in via air! It's the only way to travel! Once upon a time I was a Marine PoG, but my sister was a full on Airforce Medic. She got to do way more fun things than I did. Fortunately neither of us ever served on the front line due to timing in her case, and my particular job as a civilian contractor as I was on the tech side. Still, while I have a massive amount of respect for those who serve of the combat line; I'm also glad that my parents never had to deal with the infamous visit. To the more serious aspect, as I've gotten older, and thus my parents have gotten older and needed more help, I'm exceptionally grateful that both I am my sister have been available to provide support. This has put some things into perspective in terms of it is not only my life I'm risking, but also my ability to care for others. For a variety of reasons, my immediate family and parents probably don't have to worry about economic problems (yay malpractice?), but simply being available and around to help is a major benefit to those who might otherwise be left behind. I just think that is is exceptionally important to understand that those that give their life in defense of a cause they believe in can easily leave both children and parents who can really struggle without them. I believe that this is true of both Western and other forces, so I'm not trying to excuse the actions of some, but I just don't think we should ever lose sight of the consequences of war. Again, all honor and thanks to those who have given their all. For those of us left behind, the best we can say is thank you for your sacrifice. I think those who promote war in the modern age, for whatever reason, seem to miss this point, or worse yet willfully ignore it. FWIW, I think the US largely does recognize the potential of war. Unfortunately some of out adversaries, and the enemies of our allies, like to mix civilian and military targets, further undercutting what I just said. To speak to current events, I think Hamas F'd up royally, and it seems they are more than happy to put military targets in civilian areas. To me this is inexcusable. At the same time though, the Israeli policy regarding both areas has been . . . inconsitant at best: If we separate out the recent Hamas attack, which was clearly terrorism in my opinion, we can see a situation where Israel has either bent toward Israeli settlers to ignore traditional Palestinian land claims, or just ignored them outright. For what it is worth, I think Israel would have been best served by suing for peace by returning the territories way back when. For whatever reason they did not do this, which has left them in a strange situation with two enclaves on enemies that they now "own:, and no clear way forward. As near as I can tell, the two state solution is dead. Given that, while this is not the best solution, I think the captured territories should simply be annexed into Israel, with the understanding that all new naturally born citizens will be taught both histories, and then given full Israeli rights (and obligations). There's a lot of history behind this that I won't get into, but this would give Palestinians and nominal say of Jerusalem, and empower them vs (to be blunt) the apartheid conditions they are facing now. Basically, I think that it is well past time Israel accepts that they conquered the areas, and it is way to late to "return them," As an outsider looking in, neither region seem able to govern themselves as an independent state, so I honestly thing Israel should just annex the entire thing. in doing do, Israel must recognize all residents of the area as citizens. Give the them the right to vote, and give them true buy into the promise and refuge that is Israel. Again, I'm an outsider looking in, but I honestly feel that how Palestinians are being treated in the equivalent of Apartheid. My suggestion above is how I would address this. Note however, that none of this have to do with Hamas. Had Hamas launched a sneak attack against military units only I have some sympathy (maybe), but given their intentional targeting of civilians, they get no sympathy from me. While I do have concerns about how Israel is and will respond, I can hardly blame them. My above statements are looking at possibilities for future resolution - but vengeance though it may be, for now I feel Hamas can burn,

Israel Is done for good, people don't get that yet. If Hamas resistance gorillas succeeded to plan this successful attack without any intelligence agency knows , then they can do it again and again and again. If they do it once, they can do it twice !! Therefore, living in Israel under the occupation will never be safe , and people will not feel safe to live there anymore. Basically, the Palestinian resistance won from military, intelligence , and psychological perspective. Also, How can anyone stop a fighter who fight to "die" and not to "survive" . According to the map the lowest densly populated parts of Gaza have a population density of 3.500-4.999 per km2. To give you something to compare this to, the population density of Washington city (just the real proper city without the urban or metro area) is 4.355 per km2, that of Berlin in Germany is 4.126 per km2.

Thank you replying. Pre-Statement to my reply: I don't support Hamas and terror. I do support human rights for Israelis and Palestinians and basic dignity and respect for all humans regardless of race, religion, nationality, disabilities, age, education level, intellectual ability, income, etc. Fact is, violence breeds violence and we know (US and Allied citizens where country was involved in Iraq and Afghanistan occupations and mistakes) KNOW THAT ISRAEL'S TREATMENT OF PALESTINE AND OCCUPATION IS GOING TO CAUSE A HUGE RISE IN ANGER, USE OF VIOLENCE AND TERROR, INCRESED SUPPORT/PARTICIPATION/COLLUSION, ADING IN TERROR ORGANIZARIONS & THEIR ACTIVITIES POINT BLANK. I don't believe it is OK for Israel to disregard Dayton accord boundaries and terms signed on White House lawn. I do not feel INNOCENT Palestinians get enough help. US gave 700k of aid to West Bank (not Gaza) and 3-4B to Israel in past few years, and I DEFINITELY DO NOT SUPPORT MY COUNTRIES LONG HELD VIEW OF YAY ISRAEL, SCREW/MISTREAT/FORGET PALESTINIANS ISRAEL IS ALWAYS 100% RIGHT IN THEIR VIEWS AND ACTIONS (embarrassing bc logic tells us this is never right - no one or thing or doctrine/approach on any minor or major life topic or global relations topic is 100% right all the time). My post: I also posted in comment telling Cappy of my support of the many non-hamas regular Gazans about the fact that their parliament is largely inactive and they can't engage requesting or making their rump "government" reform any policies. I also added the fact that 40-50% of Gazans are children under 15 with no control over where they live and clarified for Cappy that Palestine is not Hamas and they ARE (instead of "so and so Palestine/Hamas leader said they are") living under "an open air prision". I added facts on 1 water treatment plant and how frequently electricity is available for normal Palstinians to hear "Israel has told Palestinians in Gaza to leave Gaza" (how helpful as they have no mass communication to receive said info and also have no transportation to move anywhere and 45% unemployment so they cannot just buy gas and hop in a car (fuel also cut off by 100% blockade). This is a human rights disaster because safety is a human right. So, yep. I don't agree that Israel's ORIGINAL occupation is OK and I don't agree that they should have acted without regard for innocent human life just because their self-listed "rocket focused terrorist militant army" used disregard for human life on them. I ALSO NEVER WOULD SUPPORT HAMAS. I feel sadness and frustration for both sides of innocent civilians just trying to life, Israelis and Palestinians. Cappy, it's never too late to change and do better. And why would you even suggest we are just subject to the past, past generational decisions, etc? That is false. Change can occur at anytime - good or bad - and you know this. It is common sense. Israel has chosen to take this stance and I understand why. However, they should do more for innocent Palestinians and the International Policy and Government groups (of upstanding countries except the USA and excluding Israel) have already stated this occupation. THIS ISNT NEW. The way Israel has handled ALL areas of Palestine is a pressure-cooker and militant creating environment for Palestinians who want human rights and not to be checked and detained without cause/trial/evidence for really as long as Israel authroities want. AS YOU SHOULD KNOW CAPPY, AS AN VET OF THE US' WAR ON TERROR, EXTENDED LIMITS ON HUMAN RIGHTS AND UNWANTED/UNREQUESTED FORCED OCCUPATION WITH VERY HEAVY (heaviest in world perhaps due to density except maybe china) AI (Israel's technologies allow them to use facial recognition to pull up identification cards, past records of every stop and hold/detain at checkpoint, other IDF infractions, etc. Details on human surveillance and Intel gathering for said person) WILL BREED TERROR ATTACKS. You take a view driven by your military (and possibly religious) view. I read a good 100 of the comments & could only conclude that your military & ex-military love cult talk as if with one voice - so much for the variety of opinions you referred to - follow you like the 'dittoheads' followed Rush Limbaugh. The problem I find is that, while you talk about "strategic & military," that is only a keyhole view into a geopolitical, religious, ideological conflict that has been in the making since at least the 7th century CE. I come with no religious or military interest into this. I come from the only country that has ever used nuclear bombs against civilian cities, killing hundreds of thousands of civilians in a 3-day period, so numbers of bombs or rockets are not the metrics of true understanding. This piece of land has been fought over by a wide variety of combatants for millennia. Check "Palestine" and "Canaan" in Wikipedia for an exhaustive analysis of who the hundreds of different tribes & participants were. It was ruled mostly from Egypt, but forces from as far away as Persia (Iran) played a part. The earliest mention of the Hebrews (known in ancient writings as the "Habira") seem to date from about 1800 BCE in the Bronze Age. Their power rose & waned, to be picked up again in the Iron Age when the kingdoms of Israel & Judah were ruled by the Israelites. In about 850 BCE, the land now known as Israel consisted of the Kingdom of Israel in the north, well up into modern Lebanon, the Kingdom of Judah to its south including Jerusalem, and a little strip along the Mediterranean known as the Philistine States, including Gaza. This "Neo-Babylonian empire fell to Alexander the Great from Greece & finally he Romans invaded the land & were the rulers at the time ascribed to the birth of Yeshuah (Jesus) & beyond. With Islam established by Muhammad in the early 7th century CE, Arab armies from the East under his direction swept into the Levant & captured the area. According to an Islamic law called 'waqf'' once any territory was captured anywhere by followers of Allah, it belonged to Allah in perpetuity. A long line of Caliphates & Sultanates ruled until the Ottomans arrived. The Muslim Ottomans Empire took over Palestine in 1516. The Ottomans retained control until defeated by the allies in WW I but the land of Israel/Palestine was still almost all owned by 11 Ottoman Turkish families known as the "Effendi." Before WW I, Jews escaping the Russian Czarist pogroms and other Jews whose presence in the area went back to the Israelite Iron Age era began buying up land with donations from the Jewish communities all over the world. This land was basically swamp or desert. Local Arab neighbors remained merely tenant farmers on Effendi-owned land. After WW I, the League of Nations cut up the entire Middle East, giving Mandatory control to various Ally countries, primarily Britain & France. Palestine became a British Mandate. The UK ruled over Palestine until the moment the State of Israel was born pursuant to the November 29, 1947 UN Resolution 181, which offered both the Jews & the Muslims their own states. The parties had 6 months from the date of the resolution to accept their states. The Jews did, declaring their acceptance on May 14, 1948. At midnight that night the last Brits evacuated the new State of Israel. The Arabs, following the demands of the Kingdom of Egypt (later the United Arab Republic) and the other major Arab nations surrounding Israel; Lebanon, Syria, Trans-Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Iraq, rejected their state - relying on their neighbors' promise to invade & wipe out the Jews whose state violated waqf. It was a tragic mistake & misjudgement relying on bloody war instead of peaceful co-existence. On the first day of the Jewish state, the armies of 5 Arab countries invaded Israel in the 1948 "War of Independence" as the Israelis term it. While the Arabs made some headway with Egypt capturing the Gaza Strip & Trans-Jordan capturing the portion of Israel now called the West Bank, they failed to eradicate Israel. In 1949, a truce was declared between Israel & its Arab enemies and the Green Line was established, leaving Trans-Jordan (now renamed Jordan) in possession of the West Bank & Egypt in possession of the Gaza Strip and Israel in possession of the Golan Heights. This is the current border, though it isn't a real border so much as the continuing existence of the Green Line. Arab violence and terrorism against Jews in the area far pre-dated the founding of Israel or the beginning of Jewish rule. Read up on the Arab massacres of Jews in Hebron -a Jewish holy city where Abraham & other founders of the religion are buried in 1929. Ironically, after killing or exiling all Jews from Hebron via terrorism against civilians, the Palestinian Arabs use the absence of Jews as "proof" that Hebron is a Palestinian city. The same is true with East Jerusalem, the Arab Quarter, which used to have some 30 synagogues before Jordan captured it in the '48 war & exiled its Jewish population, proclaiming it the Muslim Quarter. There has never been a day since the 7th Century invasion of Muhammad's Arabian forces that Muslims have accepted the presence of ANY Jews (or Christians, for that matter) as governors in the Middle East.

Unbiased my ass. I've been watching him for a long time and to be honest i like the videos. But you can clearly hear the line he has against for example Russia versus US/Israel. He points out often how the Russians bomb civilian targets which they do, but when it's US and Israel there are very good reasons to, and he elaborates on it. Could be propaganda reasons, could be lack of information I don't know nor will I go in to it. I don't even blame him, of course he is going to be biased, he is an American.

@@distorsionz1153 Majority of people are sheep and search for YT channels that just confirms what they already thought from the get go. None of these "experts" will give you any more clarity to the conflicts. Nor can an American ever understand the average Palestinian. It would be like a Palestinian having an "Unbiased" YT channel about the election in US and talking about what is the most important think for the American voter.

Amazing stuff as usual! Thank you so much for helping myself and thousands of others see through the cloud of war. Side note, can you do a similar recap, review, and analysis of the Russia/Ukraine war? Time has passed and many details have changed. Understanding perspective, historical reasoning, and tactics used (IMO) would be very helpful at this point.

Explained very briefly: how the Russians have recently annexed land in Ukraine. Israel has been doing the same thing in Palestine for more than 50 years with the help of America, Germans and others, slaughtering 2.3 million Gaza residents like animals.
