I thought the Muslims had already taken Lebanon back to the stone age? In the 1960's Lebanon was a Christian majority country and was doing well economically. Then a bunch of Palestinians moved in, and killed a lot of the Christians (as Muslims are prone to do), and Lebanon has sort of gone for a trip back in time and suffered economically.

More growing up to do while simultaneously learning about Anzac Day, and the annual Australia and New Zealand war veterans memorial parades. Still more growing up to do, until one day the light fell on US-Australian politics, then taking a U-turn to the British Empire which opened up the entire world via the road leading to Rome, then on to Greece, Bosnia, Turkey, Israel, Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Yemen, Sudan, Africa, South America, etc. And it finally dawned on me that there never was such thing as the 1st World War 1914-1918, or the 2nd World War 1939-1945, or any other isolated war, civil or otherwise. It all has been ONE WAR since day one. It has been ONE WAR ever, since the beginning of civilization: People VS people, people VS wildlife and ecosystem, religion VS people, religion VS religion, rulers VS people, rulers VS rulers, etc. etc. etc. And now we've all chosen to side with one war mongering institution or another, so the war that started a million years ago continues in all its obscene, atrocious, shameful perpetuity, fired by the hordes of ignorance in the believe that one religion, one government, one military power, will one day end the insanity.

Lebanese christians should separate and make their own state like Israel and establish a law of return for all Middle Eastern and North African Christians fleeing persecution or whom want to be free to practice their religion. There's 10 million christians in Egypt that might be a large enough pool of people to establish a powerful state. The state would become a first world country in less than 20 years.

Iran’s strategic error to attack Israel from the south with Hamas becomes more apparent by the day. If they loose their northern terror allies, their dream to eliminate Israel will fade away, or at least be delayed by some decades. And Saudi’s intention to normalise relations with Israel, like most neighbours, is still on the agenda. In other words, Iran got that wrong big time.
