Israel vs Iran: Who Would Win?

Iran has attacked Israel directly, launching over 300 drones and missiles into Israel, targeting a combination of military and civilian targets. But with minimal effect. The question is, what will Israel do next? Will the US get involved in a significant way, or should we? And could tiny Israel actually win a war against Iran?

One thing we need to understand is the government of Iran is not the same as the people of Iran who don't like their own government. If the people weren't so controlled by their government the country would be better for the region.

Something that amazes me is, how do we determine who our allies and enemies are. I was in the US air force from "72 to 76" and when I was in tech school we were in training along side of Iraqi troops where they were being trained in the use and maintainance of our systems and then a few years later we were at war with them. Go figure.

To outwardly state, accept and adopt the belief "nothing will ever happen" is a dangerous and powerful gift to give an adversary. It says to the enemy that they are underestimated. Never underestimate the enemy, it also says to the enemy that an attack will achieve more success because no one believes anything is going to happen, therefore no one will be expecting it and much less be prepared for it in order to counter the attack or even defend against it....complacency kills. Never let your guard down even in times of peace, its not paranoia; its just plain old being prepared. "If you desire peace, prepare for war"....Si vis pacem, para bellum. You wont hold on to peace very long if you disregard the enemy or adversary by switching into a mode of "nothing will ever happen". I truly hope and pray that complacency does not become a trend and the status-quo. It will lead to our ultimate defeat.

I perfectly understand you and I am also disgust to see any homeless veteran. BUT these are different issues : do you really think there will be no more homeless veterans if the US cuts its cooperation ties with Israel ? if there was ANY effect between the two, I think there may be more veterans on the long run, and proportionally more homeless ones, as it is obvious that instability will lead to US being dragged to war. @@jeremywaters7403 we're on the same page ! All I say is that problems can’t be solved if the wrong solutions are applied. Regarding the international situation : the US dragged Iraq to the first Gulf war in 1990. It had nothing to do in Iraq in 2003. It had nothing to gain in staying in Afghanistan during 20 years. More recently, it dragged Russia into the war in Ukraine. I can provide facts that corroborate all I stated. US foreign policy must evolve. There should be no taboo, and there may be a need to reexamine the US position towards its allys and partners, including Israel. Regarding the inland situation, well, I honestly think that it's even harder to resolve and I understand people's concern. Both situations are interconnected far more than the average American could imagine. I pray for the US to elect good and reasonable leaders that are able to put the national interest on top of their own (or their party’s). Is the US able to do so? It's easy to blame the leaders, but don’t forget who brought them to power.

So I want to make a point, and I stress this is not meant to be anti-Israel or antisemitic, but I think on the Right there is also a nuance when it comes to different Christian denominations and their theological position on the modern state of Israel. A lot of the Evangelicals and Fundamentalist Protestants are stridently pro-Israel because they subscribe to a particular theology/eschatology called Dispensationalism. What is not widely acknowledged by these denominations is that Dispensationalism is, relatively speaking, a very new set of ideas. This entire understanding of God's plan for humanity and the role of the Jewish people in it was created by a single English pastor in the early 19th Century. When you leave these particular denominations, and go more toward apostolic Christianity such as the Eastern Orthodox, Roman Catholic, Coptic, Armenian, and Assyrian Churches, this particular theological position is rejected. Because of this, there are many Christians who are not necessarily in favor of just writing Israel blank checks and giving them bear hugs.

Replacement Theology is not a real thing. It's a pejorative term used by Dispensational theologians to undermine traditional historical Christian Covenant theology. Christianity is predicated on the doctrine that Christ fulfilled and transcended the Old Covenant, ushering in the New Eternal Covenant with His Bride the Church, also called Israel of the Spirit.

Over the last decade seeing how much was wasted in the "War on Terror", How we pulled out and now looking back asking what was even gained. Seeing how much over the last decade this country has been in a decline, Save Trump's term, Even though culturally it became more divided. Which a lot of that could be laid at the feet of the establishment. I'm more and more in the America First camp. Although I also understand the value of allies, Especially in light of the current situation around the globe. I guess with me it would be nice to see our share cut back a little and other nations stepping it up more to pitch in. It would also much rather see the Federal Government cut in size by 75%. That surely would cut a lot of wasteful spending. Then again I have found myself more and more liking the Federalist idea with having a very limited size Federal Government and put more on the State level. I don't think we are going to see anything good anytime soon concerning Israel and Palestine until there are those at the table willing to put the past behind them and solely think about how we are going to achieve a peaceful solution going forward.

I think one of the most underestimated aspects of the Israeli Palestine conflict is that Palestine won't just stop after claiming Israel, and without Israel our Palestinian supporters here would almost certainly (at least some, much more than just handfuls though) would become domestic terrorists. Not to mention the oil crisis... If Israel falls then we lose pretty much the only internationally invested country of that region. This means a crippling shortage of oil for the whole world, except us (but we would lose our superpower status... we wouldn't be able to offer international aid anymore until taking back the pipeline, which would essentially mean the complete militarization by US forces of that region resulting in massive casualties as well as incredible local and international tensions as the US would essentially at that point rule the entire world in many ways).

...letters of Marque are an interesting and fun idea, but I don't think they work in any current scenarios. The issue that one runs into is that the majority of individuals in a position to target overseas enemies in a cost-effective and successful manner are folks who have contacts and dealings in the criminal world already. If the goal is to diminish an organization, the cost might be prohibitive. If the goal is to target an individual, we could see something like a coup where an underling then takes payment from the US and then proceeds to keep doing what his victim was doing that we didn't like - now funded in part by US tax dollars. Even if it's an outside entity that does the job, they may have other more criminal activities; which are now at least in part, US-funded. That is all on top of: letters of Marque were issued primarily as an interim step and because the US did not have the expeditionary forces or ships to enforce our government's will via force in that area at that time. In short: we weren't strong enough to do it ourselves. By that metric alone, along with the unpredictability of who will come along to collect payment - make the use of letters of marque in modern times an unsavory proposition. Fun, yes; but impractical and with significant cons. And the potential to significantly damage the US's global standing on several important fronts.

I like watching these videos, I’d say the team is normally thorough in their 1-2 hour assessments but to my flawed perspective…it seems like it was all about playing defense for Israel. Nobody mentions the Kalergi plan, the protocols of Zion, or even the instructional teachings of how Jews are to treat the goyim in the Talmud. I’d love to see a video of the team examining/ assessing these records but it may not be convenient if your stance towards Israel is going to remain so sympathetic and without critique.

This so superficial. Common sense imposes on us to first ask, « What is the root of the problem »? This you have no idea from what I can surmise from this analysis!🤦‍♀️

Sorry, but if good ranchers can lock in a price now for two years, it just shows how much of a profit they are making now. Since they raise nothing themselves, they are the middle man, they cannot force suppliers to grant discounts.

The American citizens who have an issue with prominent Jewish Americans prioritizing the state of Israel over America aren't anti-Semites for having that opinion. Those same American citizens would have an identical problem with any other individual or group (in America) prioritizing another state over America. The issue isn't with them being Jewish. This issue is with prioritizing a foreign state over America. This doesn't seem like a complicated logical thread to me, and so I'm confused why many either can't follow the thread or are pretending that they can't follow the thread. Labeling everyone in America who is "America First" an anti-Semite is a terrible strategy. Doing this mirrors the identity politics rhetoric of the radical left, and so it isn't surprising the we would draw that connection. And even if it didn't paint you as ideological cousins with cultural Marxists, it's a terrible strategy because it antagonizes those who would otherwise be sympathetic to your position. To be clear, I have no issue with anyone having whatever religious beliefs that they choose (for example Jews), and I have no issue with a nation state being predominantly one religion (for example Israel), and I have no issue with a nation state prioritizing its own interests and defending itself; my issue is with Americans having divided loyalties with foreign states and prioritizing a foreign state over America.

Of course America first. Right now Biden is both sides. In the UN they could at least side with Israel keep communication channels open maybe some mutual benefit on cybersecurity but it doesn’t need to be directly billions agreed. It should be a relationship that has objective ROI for Americans. America first means shutting borders first though

@@SA-mr2ol I'm not pontificating, but just think of this when you have a few moments sometime. I am a Christian and look forward to church every Sunday when I can worship the King as our Savior and become one with Him in the Body and Blood of the Eucharist (Communion). Jesus was a Jew. His parents were Jewish. Joseph was from the House of David - a major Jewish line. As soon as Jesus (Jeshua bar Joseph) was born His parents took him to the Temple for dedication. He was raised as a Jew and knew and quoted the old scriptures. Jesus and all his disciples were Jews and went to Jerusalem for all the Jewish feast days and sang Psalms together. The so-called Last Supper was the Seder. The big difference - the Jews had to sacrifice animals (lambs, pigeons etc) for the forgiveness of sins. And now Christ made the supreme sacrifice and is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world (Agnus Dei). After He was crucified, His followers were called "the Nazarene Jews." And as Europe through all of history was anti -Semetic, that part of Christianity was forgotten by some Christian churches, especially the Evangelicals. Christ did not come to do away with Judaism but to become the precious Lamb of God through giving his life for us. We may not agree with 21st c. Israeli politics and actions, but we need to acknowledge the Jews. They are not our enemy. It was America in fact along with Great Britain, that after WWII helped to carve out Israel from the Palestinian's land. We started a mess 76 years ago and may be paying for it. Just think about it sometime. That's all I ask . In Christ. 🙏✝️

"The great rule of conduct for us, in regard to foreign nations, is in extending our commercial relations, to have with them as little political connection as possible. Europe has a set of primary interests, which to us have none, or a very remote relation. Hence she must be engaged in frequent controversies the causes of which are essentially foreign to our concerns. Hence, therefore, it must be unwise in us to implicate ourselves, by artificial ties, in the ordinary vicissitudes of her politics, or the ordinary combinations and collisions of her friendships or enmities... it is our true policy to steer clear of permanent alliances with any portion of the foreign world; so far, I mean, as we are now at liberty to do it; for let me not be understood as capable of patronizing infidelity to existing engagements." - George Washington's Farewell Address

Not saying that you're not honest you're just not being 100% forthcoming. To say Palestine had no right rhyme or reason to attack Israel is just willful ignorance if you don't know because Israel has been quite Savage towards Palestine and that includes the citizens of Israel have been quite brutal to Palestinians and Christians. Two wrongs will never make a right. Israel is not Innocent in this and to try to make the numbers seem more of a punch in the face you're conflating percentage to mean more when it isn't and I understand that you're trying to get passed most people's numbness to atrocities we've become accustomed to. There's always two sides and two liars telling every story.😮 This shouldn't be happening, none of what's going on in the world needs to be outside of greed, which is the antichrist not to be born in one man but all men and it doesn't matter what God you believe in because greed kills all good in anyone 😢 Thanks 🙈🙉🙊
