"Pros", everyone I know that have worked with Saudi's have said they are terrible military personal who have little regard for their equipment/personal. Thier philosophy is that money trumps all and that buying the best equipment negates lack of experience/ good doctrine and tactics. This works to an extent when fighting a 3rd world like Yemen but not a regional military power like Israel...

They called it a great Arab victory. Egypt and Jordan signed a peace treaty with Israel. 1982 a coalition of Israel and Christian army took Beirut. 1991 2003 The USA asked from Israel not to go to war against Saddam Hussein.

Maybe if they relinquish Makkah and Madinah to other Muslim countries they can get away with it, but otherwise they will pay for it one way or the other in the future when a Muslim coalition punishes them for betraying Palestinian cause (fairly or unfairly).

Firstly, Jordan was the country that warned Israel about the arab armies attacking in 1973, the current king's father. Next is Israel is heavily penalized for not having much of a navy as well as the lack of oil supply to sustain long lasting wars with GFP which will change soon. And check any reputable airforce analysis of israel and based on pilot capability they are the best in the world and interms of airforce they are top 3-5 interms of potency typically put 2nd to the US. Trump allowed the purchase of 50 F22 airplanes to Israel late last year which is the best dogfighting aircraft in the world bar none and its gonna be the modernized version not based on the 1980s design.

The sinai is minuscule compared to the distance needed to make to reach any viable settlement in Saudi Arabia, paired with the immense heat and intense sand dunes, it makes it easy picking for the Saudi airforce to travel mere miles from its airport to bomb the large ground force paired up with enough time to prepare against israel’s ground force.
