Meeting the Israeli female soldier gave me another realization and I got to know the country of Israel anew. Thank you to the production team for always producing good videos.
Let me offer you an insight. When I originally subscribed to this channel, the videos covered an interesting variety of topics concerning North Korea. Then a monotonous trend emerged whereby the videos became more about America than about North Korea - essentially North Koreans praising America; North Koreans praising the American military; and North Koreans praising American food. Many viewer comments were along the lines of "Get them to react to this US thing" and "Get them to react to that US thing" - obviously US viewers looking to be flattered and praised by North Koreans. At one stage I counted 35 consecutive videos that were basically about American things. If you're in the 5 percent of the world's population that is American, that may be very interesting, but it gets tedious after a while for some of the other 95 percent. As one of the 95 percent, I eventually gave up and unsubscribed. I'm not looking for North Koreans to talk about my own country (if they even know it exists), but the channel's heavy Americacentricity gets to be a turn-off. Nowadays I check in occasionally and look at the titles and thumbnails of recently uploaded videos in the hope of finding something essentially about North Korea, but I don't bother even clicking on most of them on the strength of the title and the thumbnail alone.
@@brucemcchundra8658 Yes Exactly and just the repitition of the same people reacting to the same things youd be looking for a fresh perspective but they have the same people who already know thingss so its boring
This is so inspiring. Brothers and sisters from different race and culture united as a great family. This is a clear evidence that we human beings are capable of living in peace, love and harmony, and understand each other. In short words, we can have unity in the diversity.
So heartwarming! This just shows that no matter where you come from or what horrors you have suffered, when it comes down to person to person, everyone can relate on some level. I genuinely hope that the soldier from NK will be able to meet her daughters (my mother was forced to give up her first child who was a girl, and luckily enough we were able to meet her when I was a teenager, so I really understand that importance and hope that she gets her wish more than anything) and that the soldier from Israel is able to make her dream/bucket list come true. They are both extremely strong and smart women and I genuinely hope that they have the best future and all their dreams come true, if anyone deserves it, they do! Thank you both for sharing your stories, it means a lot to so many people, you are both amazing people 😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤
This video was very touching but so heartbreaking. In hearing Jung-Ah speak about the North Korean government, all of the deaths they cause and the suffering they inflict on their own people, I started to feel like combating terrorism in your homeland could almost seem like a vacation in comparison. How sad is it when the possibility of being blown to smithereens in your own neighborhood and seeing innocent people being slaughtered in buses, storefronts, restaurants, etc., is still better than just living in North Korea? It’s breaking my heart to realize that so many millions of people are suffering at the hands of the regime. We can free those people quickly enough!
Well, all girls, except maybe some exceptions, are required to be in the military atvsome point of their life. Gal Gadot serving in the military is not that special, because virtually everybody does. Of course, there are more beautiful and less beautiful females, but because of the number, you get more chances of seeing the more beautiful ones being posted on the internet.
You can clearly see the difference in approaches to how each country treats its military. While both have compulsory enlistment, the IDF tends to treat its citizens much better, and the training the IDF receives is on par with most Western nations since Israel has been the target of many attacks by Arab nations in its short time as a country.
Ex-israeli soldier here. I served as a military tailor for a special unit (best job in the world), i just started to watch this yesterday and now stumbled on this! Its a wonderful. As far as i understood she was a Tazpitanit, also called "the eyes of the country" as they are the ones keeping an eye on all borders and hot areas reporting everything, my sister used to be one too, she told me they even help prevent fires because they are many times the first to notice smoke! In any way, the video was great, it gets me emotional each time! Truly great work!
These soldiers look so young and beautiful for their ages and the things they have gone through. These are strong women who know who they are. Does Israel have compulsory military duty? Jewish people have such a hard history with so much persecution and unfairness and just evil against them. NK we all know things are a mess there.
@@arabman8094 It's pretty crazy and ignorant to compare what the Germans did to what's going on in Israel. For many reasons. In '48 there were about 800k Arabs living in the region today there are about 7million. In 1939 there were about 16million Jews on the planet, today there are about roughly the same. Do you see the difference? If Israel is committing genocide, then it's the biggest failed genocide in history. I'm pretty sure ten folding your population in 80 years is the opposite of a genocide.
@@TheAlanFFM they've (Israel) tried genocides but in another form, and they backfired with consequences as their Genocides fail miserably on the Palestinians. They've tried to bomb Lebanese civilian areas but these bounced back in retaliation very often. In the west bank and other borders, there's were the apartheid is going on,where there are actually almost no israeli civilians but only Palestinians..
@@arabman8094 If Israel wanted to commit genocide it would have done so multiple times in the past. From what I understand the country, by law, must be able to produce enough food on its own at any given time in case of an international blockade. It's self sufficient, so fear is not stopping it from killing anyone. If Israel wanted to expand and kill its neighbours then why did it return Sinai to Egypt and fertile regions to Jordan? It also offered the Golan Heights to Syria for about thirty years, which the Assads rejected. As it stands about 1 million Jews live in the West Bank (about 15% of Israel's whole Jewish population), making a unilateral withdrawal impossible. A military occupation is less than ideal, and a serious problem, but its allowed Israel to maintain an important strategic advantage without starting a civil war. Not to mention the nine peace offers Israel has forwarded, all of which were rejected by the palestinians.
I just want to say thank you for this channel. In the current state of the world and the lies being pushed by the media of how many free countries are supposedly the worst in the world, we never get to hear about the truly terrible countries and how their people are suffering. I hope that this lady will fullfil her bucketlist and have everything she ever deserves and more. 💜
Am he happy to see this courageous woman from north korea making a difference by speaking out about the treatment and brainwashing of the north korean army she s truly in my book a hero she had the courage and determination to leave that horrible place God bless you both I hope and pray that this wonderful as be courageous woman gets her dream come true and as well for this young israely lady I hope and pray that she may have her dreams come true I like this channel is very much I will always support this wonderful korean woman for her courage God bless you both 🙏🇮🇱🇻🇳
*Can we have a video on k9s in the military?* As in the last video one of the soldiers was confused on why people keep dogs as inside pets, and how she didn't have time for them.
Much respect to these two women from Calif lady. Love this NK lady, you are rocking your hairdo, very classy and to the Israeli lady, can I introduce you to my son, lol you sound so Californian with your "like".😜 Good one dimple.
I like this Israeli girl, beautiful yet strong willed and wanting to make a good life for her future family. I might be a little old for her, but I have no objections to her dream at all. I don't mind staying home and taking care of the kids and the house. If my future would take me there then why not?
She said some Israeli killed by the terr o ri st what about their military killing ppl and taking over some lands Both have to calm down. Real Israeli are protesting against them trying to take over Palestine Just old story and heard from both sides
#1. Guys, I love your channel. #2. I plan to watch all your videos Please #3. Make a playlist of all your videos... It is so much easier that way. . Thanks one day people suffering oppression will stop forever . I want to do all I can to see that happy day
Even though NK weman looks and sounds calm on this show, no one can imagine how much she concerns about her daughters and how much she wishes to meet them again. Hope she can reunite her family members and achieve her bucket list soon. Good video 👍
This reminds of a poem... Where 2 soldiers fighting each other and one of them will die, but they both know they are not the enemy, but they have no other option because they have to follow the rule. (I forgot the name of the poem) wasn't good at school hehe 🙄
I love your content! You should make a video about space travel and space technology, I would like to know about what information about space they teach in North Korea, if any.
Is there some kind of conflict between the two nations that we don't know about? Or you just find a random soldier to have a conversation? Are there some similarities between the two?
@@isaacchen1893 What it means is that the DIMPLE team have finally, just for a change, exposed one of their North Koreans to something or somebody foreign from somewhere else in the world other than America.
Yes hope your families are reunited and this is beautiful to see nation's coming together to see we are all people before a nation human before a rich person's ideas for our life and sometimes death I love all these cast I hope more of the world see's we are all the same just humans
I ain’t even start watching and that Israeli girl is adorable 🙄 like such a pretty face would honestly make me melt I hope all them beautiful people get blessed with peace 🖤
Leave your children behind so you can escape NK. That's a whole other dimension of seriously horrific. Sadly I wonder if her family wasn't killed for her escape. Lastly, the Israeli solder knew of a man being killed through an act of violence. The NK woman knew of solders starving to death because the country wouldn't feed them. How do you even begin to rationalize this.
let her speak with a real solider....i served in the army been in 2 wars and seen lots of hard routine of army service....great channel and i really like how you react to other armies !
That Jewish girl is so pretty (forgot her name). For real one of the most beautiful woman's I lay my eyes on. And it felt like she had something in her brain. That's rare to see. I hope she and ofc the nk woman aswell get everything that they deserve, that all ther dreams come true.
How incredibly sad it is that the leadership in NK treats its citizens this way. People dying of starvation and malnutrition just so Kim can keep power... that is a crime against humanity. The lack of rights and protections for the female soldiers and I'm assuming women in NK in general is just disgusting. I can only imagine the psychological damage incurred in the Israeli situation due to constant, or even intermittent during times of temporary peace, level of fear they must live in. I feel so much empathy for the women in this clip. I hope their lives can be all that they want them to be for the rest of their lives.
Probably because almost all Israeli citizens are required to serve in the military at 18 for about 2-3 years. Also, I imagine it's not a fun time being a woman surrounded by men in a warzone. I'm not a woman though, so what do I know?
I am also an Israeli soldier and i never seen the uniforms that this Israeli soldier is wearing.... something is weird... as well as her hair being down and wearing unauthorized shoes...
she no longer serving. My guess is she was already in Korea as a kpop fan or couldn't bring military uniform to Korea from Isreal mossad or shin bet would of got her! HAHAHA!
@@jameschang2873 maybe that's it. The pants are military pants for in base, but anything else wasn't really uniforms. Still really cool though that they did that👍
@@yairmeron4394 they do return uniforms once they finish their military service. At least the formal type of uniform (מדי א), not so sure about the type you're allowed to wear at the base (מדי ב).. I'm at a filming unit and there's a tradition of the photographers' department that they rip the מדי ב's shirt apart on the last day of their service.
My country's army is modelled from Israel's, the first batch of our soldiers were trained by Israelis too... but we don't feel that way lmao. Most of us here do it just because otherwise we'd go to jail.
@@biocaster777 Singapore. But the way military service and reservist is depicted in South Korean dramas, I would guess society there has the same general attitude towards military service as us.
The more I watch the more I feel so sad for people everywhere. These beautiful ladies should be living their lives doing what they want, not having to serve, due to the stupidity of others. Kim and his Bs, or the BS of those countries who want to eliminate Israel. I wonder how these Ladies would have lived if they had grown up in a world without war, without abuse, and a world where all are respected?
@@biocaster777 no, there are 2 basic types of uniforms in the israeli military there are cermonial umiforms and work uniforms. All work uniforms are olive green and in the cermonial ones each branch has a different uniform. The navy in white or khaki, air force in khaki, and the army in olive green
@ 2:49 have you ever watched your comrades die on duty . The answer that followed made me stop watching the rest of the video . The answer could have been yes or no .. Instead we got a weird story about a person that got shot who wasn't even military . I'm wondering why ?
I'm not going to bother re-watching it, but after the first upload, I gave up watching after about the first ten minutes because the constant "likes" were driving me nuts.
it's not her mother tongue, she's having a hard enough time as it is. She's saying like to fill in the space while she thinks of how to say the rest of the thought.
@negro bsr they would have tanned skin. Majority of israelis are from Europe, look at em,their white skin, structure, etc. And still, just because some of them are from the arabic world,it doesnt mean that they can go settle in Palestine, where Palestinians are the majority. Who said just because your from the arab world you can settle in another country where a ethnic group already lives?
@negro bsr no most israelis are in no way tanned. My friend was in israel and reportingly said that they look like europeans, especially russians. And still,if some are from the arab world,it doenst make them native. Israelis are in no way more native then Palestinians
@Xi Jinping No, I'm from israel and we have people who have come from all over the world and from all colors, white, tanned, dark skin etc. My parents, for example, immigrated to Israel from the Soviet Union, Dagestan, which is basically quite inside Russia.
@@Orli.b.mslove I think it is a stereotype as an Arab or a person in the middle east you are excepted to be tanned I always get asked on why I am so pale :)
In monarchy.. Soldier die for one family not for country... But in Democratic country soldier die for country and there people's.. So i choose for serve in Democratic country if i have to serve....
@@FoapAndGhostMW2 and stop watching western news propaganda like bbc, cnn, global news, and israelis media. Lol! Even after ww2 profit and those "foreign aid" from america you ultra nationalist and braindead people are still want to keep spreading the same bullcrap over and over again even though more and more people already see your hypocrisy.
