Americans want freedom for everyone. even if some people don't seem to realize that freedom sometimes comes with things you don't like. that's the point of freedom. you are free to do what you want and, *free to suffer the consequences of whatever choice you made.* I also feel like most people in the world are like "hey entire world? Can y'all sit yo ass down somewhere and stop trying to fight every MF who *might* have looked at you sideways?! like goddamn."
Every living family member back in NK will have been punished upon his defection. There are multiple levels/classes/strata within NK society (At least 21 I believe). His immediate family would have been sent to the bottom level where they would have literally nothing. No home, no job, no food, no way to earn money. Every member for 3+ generations would stay at the bottom rung with zero chance of climbing out. After getting out of prison, of course, provided they survived. Cousins, second cousins, extended family, etc., would receive demotions of several levels/ strata; again, for multiple generations. He lived in Pyongyang and was able to study overseas and receive cash stipends. That means his family was in the top 2-3 levels out of the 21+ or so levels in NK society. He was so privileged, and obviously spoiled, that he had no idea that anyone in NK didn't live as well as he did. His family members who stayed, however, sure found out. That he is so flippant about what happened to dozens of his family members I find chilling. All to avoid having to eat a meal with a colleague he didn't like. Though I realize ultimately the fault lies with the NK government, I would be so guilt-wracked for the remainder of my life. But he seems so happy o.0
I'm often curious about what farmers might bring to market that others could afford to buy from them! Do they bring their goods into Pyongyang to sell to the rich folks? Do they get to eat the fruits of their labor?
I'm always fascinated that when I was in the Army, I was a total weakling and weighed next to nothing... I was in great shape but just had very little strength. As I got older, strength came naturally and I'm a lot stronger now at 67 than I ever was at 21! I never worked out very much either! P.S. That is one huge Random Task!
Lol this is the funniest shit.... u think Americans are easy no one would ever take over this country u not only got the military to deal with but every citizen that has a gun too lol
So for some reason this reminded me of my Kindergarten year of school The entire year i was in kindergarten, my dad was deployed to Alaska for a millitary assignment. I didnt see him at all that year. It was always my grandpa that had been picking me up from school (my mom worked). Anyways, on the VERY last day of school, i go to be picked up and my grandpas there..and my dad was next to him Except i didnt recognise my dad. Before hed always been clean shaven, but when he got back he had a beard and a mustache so i didnt recognise him 😂😂😂 He got up and started chasing me and it wasnt until i heard him upclosei realised who it was. That still remains one of my favorite memories 😂
One correction. You were "freest" in America when you were in Texas! New York City is a Leftist s***-hole, like L.A., San Francisco, Chicago, Philly.... You will, with a little research discover that the aforementioned cities are in a race to see which one can become like North Korea the fastest. And Virginia is simply too close to D.C., where Leftist Democrats and Liberal elites choreograph the destruction of America from within, pushing a Far Left communist style Govt that you and your family fought so hard and long to escape from. Good luck! Stay free!
This shows the power of socalisation. N Koreans are no different to anyone else at birth, but get unlucky enough to be born in N Korea and you're socalised one way, get born in another place and you're socalised to be more your natural state. Shows how opressive the N Korean regieme is on every single fascet of life. I hope for a day of liberation, in 1000 years maybe N Korean dads will be shocked that their ancestors used to not hold thier babies. One day, hopefully.
u.s. propaganda.. fyi we lost in Afghanistan because democrats a military industrial complex killed our troops on purpose. you have no idea how much the e-1s to the e-5s hate the the fucking west point old family leadership who arent even there on the ground with the troops theyre commanding.
I love you ❤🎉. 😢 im sad for the peoples of North Korea. You suffer so much at the hands of your government. It is a terrible thing to think of. We love the peoples.
I've said it all along. Separate people from whatever it is that tries to brainwash them, and you will find that people anywhere you go are much the same...and for the most part they are bright, curious, and nice.
He is clueless. Modern Fighters can detect and simultaneously destroy enemy aircraft at a hundred miles distance. So how are they going to "Crash" into our aircraft ? He doesn't even know what defensive Chaff is as he's looking at it. He believes that targeting contact is by eyesight. He is again clueless that systems such as GPS, Infrared, night vision, laser acquisition can target enemy. Fire and forget missiles. Militarily North Korea is in the Stone Age. War breaks out North Korea will have only one airworthy operational aircraft. The one 'Fearless Leader' will be using to escape to China. And most assuredly China will hit it with an anti-aircraft missile.
This is why most public educational systems around the world don't teach critical thinking. The powers in charge want to maintain the status quo and keep people ignorant, including in North Korea and the United States.
You don't really need to "prepare" to not be a dick when you're there. It's pretty simple, stay silent and don't "go past the chain and rail" lol. I went there for a field trip in 8th grade (wayyy back in like 2001-2002) and it's pretty easy to watch and be respectful.
I hope that these people understand that we only use these weapons for defense. We don't want to take over any country, but we don't want a country to take over the United States. When asked by other nations we will try to help. In other words, don't bother us and we won't bother you.
As an American we don't look at north Koreans as different than south Koreans, We look at them as political prisoner's. Glad you got out of there and are on our side now we welcome you with open arms cousin.
