Im Iranian and most Persians dont hate nor love Israel. Most of us dont care about the whole Palestinian Israeli issue as we arent jews, arabs, israelis, sunnis nor Palestinians. We have our own issues to worry about. And i think other than the hardliners most of the Iranian government doesnt even care about Israel really. Again, most of us care about what goes on in our own border and our own livelihood than about abroad.

I live in Canada. Here are so many Iranian people are living and they are so nice and warm people. They always say that Islam has destroyed their Country. And they want to eradicate that barbaric religion from entire Iran. Also, they are very modernized and open-minded people. I hope they get freedom in their own country.

Cyrus the great, the father of all Persian, is the only foreigner who has been called Messiah by the Jews. In the 6th century AD Jews fought side by side Persians against Romans to take back Jerusalem. It was Israel who in cooperation with Iran shut down Saddam's nuclear program in early 80ies. Jews have been one of the most loyal and valuable minorities in Iran. Our good relations throuout history are way too great to be overshadowed by couple of decades of tensions!

Even in terms of the faces of the Israeli people, they are very similar to Iranians, my mother was Jewish, but the government did not allow it, and their family was changed from Jew to Muslim.

As a iranian I have to say I lived this video, to be honest, iranians generally dislike or even hate the Palestinians but actually like the Israelis, but because of Netanyahu people have become very resentful towards Israel even if they don't hate Israel. Again I like Israel and Israelis but to be honest people call the America, Israel and Saudi Arabia the Axis of evil these days and I kinda get there point, but still Israelis are very good and kind people that have come back to there historic homeland after 2000 thousand years of exile.

Politicians from BOTH countries are at fault here and are driving both countries towards a dangerous confrontation. I visited Iran in 2017. I was amazed to see the Jewish communities and synagogues in Tehran Isfahan and Hamadan maybe in other cities too! There’s a level of respect for religion which’s great to see. So whatever problem is mostly because of the politics of our time and I don’t really know who’s benefiting.

I can not think of a single reason why these two great nations should be enemies!

In my experience (some) Iranians might resent the politics of the state of Israel but not Jewish people in general. Jews have been a part of the Iranian community for thousands (!) of years, before the Islam arrived. Even the bible mentions Jews in Persia. It's their land as well. Now and forever!!!

as someone who is proud isreali jew zionist I think Persians are misunderstood by alot of people they had good civilization and history and culture before they were islamized and arabized before islam I think they are kind people who are chill people like isrealis but like education and knowledge they love thier tea 🍵 alot

I think asking "what do you think of Persia & Persians" would be more effective for Israelis than asking them about Iran & Iranians since most Israelis distinguish these two identities. One is seen as political only and hostile to Israel without any further knowledge and the other is known as ethnic, cultural and historical. I remember back then at school, the children in class were surprised to know that the Persian jews in Israel came from Iran, they thought that these were two separate countries and Persian jews came from Paras (Persia in Hebrew). Iranian jews in Israel identify as Persian only, they dont call themselves Iranians so maybe that's what caused this attribution here (alongside a minimal investment in a more modern Oriental Jewry studies in schools). Also, many Israelis think that Iran itself is an Arab state ... they don't know a thing about Iran as Iran they know it just from the news.
